By trailer #2 you mean the first trailer that was just released in front of Beowulf? There currently is the teaser then the 1st trailer. Or is this something different?

That's what I was going to ask. I'm assuming they just mean the trailer (otherwise it would be fairly big news)

I'll confirm, just saw it tonight. This is the same trailer from Beowulf last week (same as on Apple this week). If you want to see it in the theater, now you have a choice of seeing it before Beowulf or The Mist. I wasn't expecting it, but I perked up the instant I heard the scratchy sound at the start. Sadly I was trying to catch up on uF on my phone when it started...

EDIT
Also has a trailer for The Poughkeepsie Tapes attached - more Blair Witch style cinematography dealing with a serial killer.

well yay for Cloverfield, but is The Mist good(with that director I don't think it can be bad)

I enjoyed it and it kept my attention for two hours. I'd recommend not reading too deeply into reviews as comments on RottenTomatoes almost spoiled things for me and gave a little too much indication as to what to expect with the ending.

I went to see Beowolf in 3D at the Imax cinema in London. They are NOT showing the Cloverfield trailer. Just Polar bloody Express.

To stop lots of new threads of subject "w00t! I saw the trailer" maybe we could catalogue the different films that show with the trailer here in case people want to see it whilst surrounded by the sweet smells of spilt coke, popcorn and kiddy vom?

So far:

Beowulf
The Mist
