Hey guys,

I found this place way to late to have been able to jump in on this game, but I thought it was pretty cool seeing "The Laughing Man" Logo plastered over Kerry's face Wink

Did this ARG have a Ghost in the Shell Influence? Or was that just an isolated reference?

JC's just been kinda an anime fan. Could be more to it, but there's been anime references peppered throughout.

Where in the world do you think JC is located? What nationality? In what embassy does he work? Where is it? Whose do you think the two voices in the captured tapes are?

JC works at the Chinese consulate in Los Angeles. The Chinese embassy is in Washington DC.

He told me that his father is a Chinese immigrant, and that he has an uncle that works at the consulate. I wonder if the "something bad" that happened is that his uncle was deported/killed by the Chinese, who found out that JC was hacking their computers ...

Thanks Darren, even if the game imploded I'd still love to talk with the guy.

Would be good to know one way or the other, too.

Y'know, I keep checking that video page just to see if he's taken it down - if he did, I'd remove the screenshots in a heartbeat. Still up, though. Seems like the towel got thrown in (although I can hope it's just Thanksgiving sluggishness).

I downloaded one of his other podcasts and I'll give it a listen during a three hour car ride tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Big News Guys :)

Ok so theis is what came out of my OOG email:

Quote:
Hello,

I was just wondering if you were planning to have a postgame chat, maybe via skype or something. Many people who I have chatted to by skype and by email have been wondering this and we hpe that you decide to do it. Also, is the game over? You must know that we found the ending video and you have more or less been out of contact this whole week (compared to previous weeks). I hope that it continues for the next two days, whatever that may accomplish. Anyway, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and please respond as soon as you can, either via email or skype.

Thank You,
~Darren Dameon Knight III~

P.S. I cant wait for the audio drama. Not a fan of audio dramas but this one has more or less sucked me in Smile

Marcus replied sometime this morning:

Darren,

I'd love to have a postgame chat, time permitting. Things are a bit hectic
here getting my ducks in a row for the premiere.

The game is not over, there's still one more audio drop from JC, but the
puzzle/intrigue phase is pretty much passed. Just with Thanksgiving and
everything going on, this last audio drop is a bit delayed.

PS, I knew you guys found the vid. I'd actually been waiting several days
for you to find it Smile Hope you enjoy what I've cooked up with the audio,
come Monday.

PPS, Red Monday is a miniseries, and only the first episode is free.
However, I'm planning on providing a password for the Knights, so you guys
can access the whole thing gratis. All I ask in return is that you please
let your friends and family know about the drama if you like it.

Take it easy,

~ J. Marcus Xavier

Woot! Free episodes! After all, I think we've earned it with all the spamming we did xD I love the fact that he's earning money from this. He deserves it, it was fun ^_^ I think I can get a Canadian friend (who is currently living in Spain) to listen to it.

I wonder when will the post-game chat be?

Review of Silent Universe

I listened to Silent Universe during the car ride, and wow - excellent stuff. Really entertaining, superb quality voice acting and foley, and interesting plot lines. I'd recommend it strongly to anyone with a few hours to kill. That car ride has never gone quicker. I'm tempted to pick up the higher quality (paid) ones, too - occasionally the mono broadcast was tough to make out.

Very much looking forward to Red-Monday's Audio Plays, particularly if they'll be of the same caliber!

Also really looking forward to the PM chat. Darren, are you taking point on arranging a time? Sooner the better.

I am game ether IRC or Skype even MSN. I think IRC would be best as it is designed for that. But truly it does not matter to me. Wednesdays are best, at the moment. Any way. That is all. This was a great game. I can not wait to hear the show. I love Silent Universe.

I'm dying on the inside here, guys! We HAVE to get a final chat with JC. Possibly one that finishes with him disconnecting after having said a missile is heading his way xD

I nominate Skype. It's got good logging features, and the group chat works swimmingly. Also, IRC dies a horrific death on my machine.
