Hmmm... interesting.
Could it be that someone has guessed Abram's ending, saw that everyone disliked it, and it changing it?

Haha Joel!
I know this guy, he just told me this today! I friggen' freaked out. Turns out his sister and Mike have known each other since college. Anyway, I want her to try and get premier tickets for us. It would be amazing!
But yeah, and didn't she say they were re-shooting in LA ?
It's either a mistake, or it's very odd.

Hmmm...I understand reshoots are fairly common, but didn't the WGA strike start about 2 weeks ago? No writers around to re-write any scenes...unless they were done right before the strike started.
BTW, filming occurred both in NY and LA, so it could be either. From past topics and other news items back in July/Aug, speculation was the LA filming included the helicopter take off sequences as well as some shots of people running in panic down a city street along with military vehicles.

Reshooting a scene woudlnt neccisarily mean rewriting it. It could be that while in editing, the director didnt like the angle or depth of the shot and thought the scene(s) should be redone
