From that article, the Aphyonus is a benthic species. From the wiki page on the Benthic Zone :

Benthic's organisms are different from all the ones on the other parts of the ocean. They are called Benthos. They have a different body structures and different physical appearances than that of the other parts of the Ocean. ... These Benthos cannot live on the upper parts of the ocean and they cannot be brought up to the surface, because [if] they leave their territory and try to go somewhere else, they will just explode.
it sounds sort of like a ten year old wrote that article, it still may be true, but still... weird article.
yea, a few people have already examined that museum website. It's interesting, but I doubt relevent. Except for the consistency of the theme of deep sea creatures

ive been trying to search, using various keywords, this notorious footage of the elderly lady consuming slusho.
is there any way to filter results to not include any references to cloverfield so that we can find IG sites easier?

If you search with google, write the words you don't wanna get in the found homepages with a minus,
e.g. you want to get in goolge every page about Cloverfield, but only without "Abrams" and, say, without "Ethan Haas" , so you type in google command line:
Quote:
Cloverfield -"Ethan Haas" -"Abrams"

Good luck!
I always try to search like:
Quote:
"Slusho" "Tagruato" -"Monster" -"Cloverfield" -"1-18-08" -"monstrous" -"Abrams" -"viral" -"Ethan Haas" -"Horror" -"unfiction" -"imdb" -"arg"
It helps

don't have the time to sift through the endless stream of results.
anyone able to search on my behalf. I need any connection with this notorious video of the experments on elderly women with slusho. It seems to me like the way forward in this ARG.

This all seems... well... odd.
It makes no sense for a few reasons:
1) As far as we can tell, they only posted it to ONE site. Vernon's postings appeared in multple sites, so it can be corraborted from multiple locations and multiple sources exist in case one disappears.
2) Why post to a public forum where users can respond and coment so freely? The post has already been removed because of the OOG responses.
3) Why not post to a forum where it applies more? Are there any conspiracy theory sites out there? Why post to a widely accepted, serious scientific website where you know that, it's it not real serious science, it will be removed?
4) Why post the only source of the image there, as an ATTACHMENT no less? ARG convention is to lead people to another site, where you have hosting control, and host the content there. If this is is the only place to get this information, a third party (in this case, the forum moderators) can't be allowed to remove it at will.
It all just... feels... wrong. We're missing something here.
Agreed! It seems a bit peculiar that only one post was left regarding the existence of this document. One would think that making sure the information that is being circulated is protected and available to the target users. Posting on an open forum where information can be edited or deleted and where you have no control seems a bit questionable.

oh dear....this is the biggest hint yet that the monster could be a chimera of sorts, or simply a mutated crab

It's also odd that he's a first time poster. If this picture is real he's either joking or someone on the inside.

yeah here we go again... someone will be here in the next 5 min to remind him/her of the TOS
edit to add: but it's not possible to add a picture to a link like that right? i mean idk that much about webpages but i would think that's automatically IG because of the tagruato.jp before it right?

that's the picture that's on the site's pre-Home page where you choose what language you want. The top of the page says "Tagruato is destroying our oceans," and the rest of the site is gone. Hmm...creapy.
