Well I can't make heads or tails out of this one. But I showed it to a non-ARGing friend of mine... she saw a many-eyed alien with buck teeth on the left and a nonplussed jack-o-lantern on the right. Laughing

I tried writing down the number of sides of each figure, but then both the squares/rectangles and the diamonds have 4 sides, and they're obviously different. And the pentagon at the bottom isn't equilateral and is pointing to the left... Dunno

I'm guessing something important happened in 1971, or maybe that's when this was written down.

There's a lone dot in the right circle, don't know if it's intentional or not.

Is it a code, a map, or an equation? Or none of the above?

At least Smithy's going back to the campsite for another look. I emailed him yesterday but haven't heard back.

Great solve! Knew it had to be something stupidly simple like that Wink

Sometimes it's too easy to over-complicate things.

What are those white/silver things on the skull? Spec: I wonder if that's really Tettleson. Hawkins was after him for something (the Necronomicon?), I wonder if he ever caught up to him. And like Smithy said, if this is Uriah, then who's that on the 1986 tape? More spec: Smithy's vision/hallucination, possibilities include astral projection and holograms. And oh yeah, special herbs. Razz

Scribe and myself were thinking about the same exact thing earlier, and I was wondering if the meaning of the sentence "Uriah is dead" was to be taken litterally in that context - as "dying" could also have been changing from one state to another ?

Yikes! Who told Smithy about the sanctuary?! Two new files up there - audio in which Smithy apparently does something very, very bad, and another puzzle from JJ titled "Who I am." Smithy is PISSED about the audio, he says it didn't happen that way! Is somebody lying, or are memories being tampered with?

The puzzle is, well, let's just say I learned a lesson from the last one. Hints:

I thought maybe some kind of thesaurus-based word substitution thing, e.g. "consensual ferret" could be "meeting spot". But that's sketchy Smile

In terms of looking for JJ's "new soul", he/it seems to mention soul/face a fair bit. "Soul" is in the song lyrics from before. I was thinking perhaps it was a reference to look for him on facebook, but turns out Jon Jones is far too common a name, and searching for his e-mail turns up nothing.
