Perhaps its a prophecy? Or something...

Anyways....

I - Crab - Lays lots of eggs

II - Octopus - Has flaps, and lives deep under water.

III - Jellyfish - Very dangerous

IV - Fish - Deep, scary looking.

V - Wave - Destroying city?

That actually seems to make some sense, but perhaps the fish means something else. Perhaps the metaphor of people being suckered in by something that looks harmless and inviting?

For anyone who might not see the numerals, and to have the evidence handy...

This isn't an ARG.

It's an ARE (Alternate Reality Experience), ARA (AR Advertisement), or ARS-VA (AR Style Viral Advertisement)

Even the comparative height of the sea creatures aren't consistent. The tanner crab lives at a depth between 200-1000ft, so it should be second highest in the picture, under the jellyfish (I think).

Aurigan: was it just coincidence that we said the same thing at the same time on the last page, or were you replying or something to me?

That's going to be big at the box office!

I have a feeling that it is going to be more of a cult classic kind of movie.

i totally think this is IG.

or else someone put alot of time into making that image in photoshop for no reason

Honestly, that is not a very complicated image at all...a novice could whip that up in an hour or so. A more experienced user could do it in half the time.

Agreed. If I had the source pics it wouldn't take but maybe 20 minutes to do.

I seems like the image has the same sort of layout as the official poster, with the SoL and NY cityscape, does. Maybe there's a connection there, too?

Maybe its an order in which the monster kills? First the crab, then the octopus, then the jellyfish, then the fish, and finally, MAN!!

Another thing to throw around, possibily someone is making the monster and those four animals (5 including the Aphynos) are being used as test subjects, getting certain DNA from them. Alternatively they are just being tested on, and the people who hacked the site new about this.

Another possibility is that those are the plans of Tagruato: First experiment on the craps, then the octopus etc. and finally attack a city.

Just throwing random ideas out there.

Exactly...my statement was based on having the source images handy as opposed to creating them from scratch

Obviously the writers had developed quiet a bit of history for the film, i.e. Tagruato, Bold Futura, ParafFun….etc. Compared to the Lost Experience we are getting a good bit if info.
