That's what I was thinking. I know it seems out of the way to be OOG but in some weird sense I get the idea that is something JJ would throw at us. The Gotham City reference is just what Brody calls NYC because of the crime or something.

I'm just throwing stuff out there. If you look on our forums (fortyeight.freeforums.org) we have a whole big list of references made in the game.

I was a writer for the film(s) connected to the 48 hours ARG. It is not really connected to Cloverfield. It would be best to let that thinking die.

It's pretty common outside of NY. I've heard Brian Williams of NBC news refer to NY as Gotham City fairly often.

Sorry to be so opaque about my question. There's been some speculation that this game is cloverfield related (I know I know EVERYTHING is cloverfield related). I thought it would be worth checking with you guys because of the name issue: Brody HAWKINS, the film connection, and the 'fields of Clover' thing.
