I think im gonna go with Whois on this. I mean hell, if you look at the wave, its covered in 2's and 3's. But the One on the right of the Octopus is fairly clear.

And yeah, my pic is from when I first found out about it (which wasnt long after it became small).

Eh, if you can find the other number 1-5 and they are all as clear, then mabie I will believe it is deliberate.

I am very sure that it was deliberate. It doesnt look like noise, its perfectly shaped, with the base of the 2 being straight.

Of course the real question is, what does this all mean?

All right, theorem, and it's a big, fat stretch.

Connect the dots from roman numeral I to II - take a loop around to catch the '2', if we're accepting it as legit, up to III, jog down and left to the IV, and up to the V.

Capricorn is the constellation/zodiac sign of the sea-goat, it's called 'makara' or sea-monster (a chimeric one) in Eastern astrology, and in all zodiac calendars, either ends, begins, or covers Jan 19th, pretty damn close to the time of our flick.

But like I say, it's a stretch, and I hold the market for crazy Cloverfield theories.

Heh, I took that out because I kind of stopped myself and thought 'yeah... that IS nuts.' But it still kind of matches. I was researching makaras last month but didn't bring it up much until this week.
