[INFO] JJ's Master Plan is Working! How people in a crowd of 500 reacted to my SLUSHO! attire. I just left a large Christmas event where as many as 500 people were in attendance. I wore a SLUSHO! hat and tee.
The response was interesting. I would say at least 50 people in the crowd responded to me in some way. I had a couple of people ask where I got the tee and hat. But mostly, people yelling out SLUSHO! and "YOU CAN'T DRINK? JUST SIX".
50 may not seem like a large number of people but it is. In fact that number maths out to be huge.
In my business when we do surveys we do in-tab 400 for every 10,000 people. Based on the responses of the 400, you can get a great idea of who is listening to you. So 50 out of 500 is solid.
To say the least it was really cool. This is the first big event where I donned the gear. It was really amazing.
So this tells me that JJ's evil plan to infect us with the Clover Virus is working.
I personally inducted 5 people into the Clover Virus.
Just thought I would pass that on to the Uf crew.

50 outta 400? thats 12% and 12% of 300,000,000 (US population) is like 36 million of the US and each ticket is about ~8-9$ so that means this movie is going to make ~$300,000,000 LYK WOW!
lol my math is probably wrong
ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG

It'd be 50 of 500 as was originally stated, and that'd be 10% of the population. That's pretty good market penetration, especially for a movie with so relatively little active promotion (viral marketing is definitely a form of passive promotion). US population is over 300 million, so we are looking at 30 million people seeing the movie and at $8 a ticket you have a $240 million in gross profit. Not too shabby.
I guess there's more people following this than the 'couple dozen' some others claimed here before.

DAMMIT, what quilting party? Crap, I never have any fun!
I would say a good share of people there were computer users not so much geek though.
Most comments were coming from people in the 25 to 35 age range. A couple 16 to 18.

That was mean and totally uncalled for.
No one said anything about trying to look cool.
We're fans of this movie/game.
Being a fan typically means buying memorabilia.
Lighten up.

So it is true, great minds do think alike lol. Was at the mall here yesterday and i looked in there just to see if they did, since they have every other tv and movie shirt. Also checked spencers, both places said they had no knowledge of carrying anything like that

I have no doubt in my mind that it will happen. Maybe not before the movie, but I think that all the forums online will blow up even more when the normies leave the theatre and head home to sign onto AOL via dial up and after closing out the 30 pop-ups that come up every time they bring up the internet they will check out the back story and poof! instant T-shirt sales... coming to a Wal-Mart near you!
/internet-snob-rant
P.S. Sorry about that lol I spent 6 hours last night fixing my Mom's PC due to AOL/POP-UP/DIAL-UP Issues and am still a little bitter
