[semi-OT]Lost Experience

How do you think will be "Cloverfield" preceived by people who doesn't know anything about the prehistory and about the facts we know.

I'd say, it's a lost experience, isn't it? I've the same lost experience with the Lost Experience, because I haven't known anything about it (what a pity).

For these people, who just go into the cinema to watch the movie, for these people their experience will be really different.

But, they won't know what they're missing. If they don't know about it, then they won't miss it...the movie will just be a typical movie, without any of the extra stuff we know about.

Maybe we should stand outside our local theatres and fill people in as they get tickets.

Smile lol

That's why I'm active now, hehe. I've infected 30 % of my colleague with Cloverfield, so perhaps JJ Abrams has to pay me for non viral marketing, Smile

I have talked to my whole extended family a million times over about it, and I go into immense detail whenever someone so much as wonders aloud why I have meaningless ramblings scrawled all over 8 pages of my h/w planner talking about Dec 9th and 6 red crabs. Abrams, you owe me $700,000.

lol that's awesome...same here. My friends are starting to question my sanity, and I've totally freaked out at least a dozen people I don't even know. And, I've starting a topic about this on another forum (one that has nothing to do with movies or anything at all) just for me to rave about it for the next 8 weeks.

When this is over, I'm going to file a lawsuit against JJ Abrams for damage to my sanity and social life. Twisted Evil

You are propagating the very essence of Viral Marketing.

This movie has inspired two monster-based story plots of my own. I'm working on the monster for the second one now.

Im pretty sure my family is getting sick of hearing about it, since i never shut up about it and am constantly on here and watching the trailer. I will say tho that ive turned on quite a few people toward it, including my sister and her husband , who saw the teaser before transformers. i showed them the new trailer and they freaked out totally over it, saying their definitely going with me opening day to see it Laughing
