What if the little monster babies hatched from the deep sea nectar in people's stomach and went into a state of hibernation, only to be woken by the call of their parent?
I very much doubt that the Seabed's Nectar will be in Slusho! whole and unmangled.
I suspect it will have been liquefied and put in the drink.
How's a baby monster supposed to survive that?
I say that exploding people has nothing to do with Slusho!, it's just something the monster does that makes them explode. Maybe it has poisonous quills with some sort of super-poison that makes people expand and explode?
I'm sure they're gearing up to sell Slusho! in real life, what kind of marketing is "Drink this! It'll make you explode!"?
Nah, Slusho! is the cause of the monster's mutation, it made it grow big and strong. Slusho! is being marketed as something which makes people feel wonderful and grow big and strong. It's basically like saying "Red Bull gives you wings!", it's an energy drink.

Cloverzilla could have toxic blood like that bounty hunter dude in the X files.
Can you image it big monster starts smashing up NYC , army comes in shots it up realises toxins into the city and people start to go pop.
Textbook!

Well if we consider that all organisms start from a single cell, if even just one cell from the DSN was added to the slusho all it would have to do is react to acid or enzymes in the stomach and start multiplying and voila! a baby monster!

It reacts with stomach acid and grows?
Well, I'd be surprised if that was the case, I'd think it more likely that a poison would be the cause of exploding people.

Yeh, I know that's more likely, I just got sucked in to my little story
And also, not nessacerily stomach acid, it could be enzymes!
Sorry, I'm doing it again

heheh, don't apologise, you might be exactly right.
I'd just be surprised if anything could grow in the stomach, stomach acid is really strong stuff.

I don't know that slusho causes the woman's explosion, but I definitely believe that the sea nectar comes from our monster. I mean, how else would you explain its seemingly magical properties like longevity and its amazing taste? It is going to be the classic scientists using samples of something that they don't understand, and then in the process of harvesting it the monster gets awakened.

Maybe the "parasites" that the monster bring into the city are creatures completely different from the monster, when the monster enters the city, the parasites leave the monster and spread through the city, implanting people with their eggs/mating with the females ala aliens.

Maybe it only affects people who have Slusho in their stomachs at the time that the monster appears. If someone comes in contact with the monsters blood the Slusho in their stomachs starts to fizz and creates so much gas that the person explodes.
Either that or Slusho is turning them into a whale.

Exactly! Remember the Slusho website says things about slusho making you grow as big as a whale. One of the happy talk things also talks about how they feel like they might burst.

Not quite sure where I'm going with this but...
They put a new drill platform off of NY out in the Atlantic. They've been making Slusho! before, but perhaps something is in the seabed nectar that they're getting from THAT specific platform. That would explain why nobody exploded before, or until the monster comes around, since the platform opened in September.
Perhaps the supposed eggs in Slusho! are from that site. But when we say eggs, we're thinking something visible in size. What if they were smaller? It obviously has to be able to flow with a drink, so perhaps they're microbial, or microscopic. Besides, they don't have to be destroyed when mixing. Don't they have the slush, then add the flavoring next? They have those tumblers in slushie machines, but they don't move fast.

Yyyyeah, no...
I'm a new poster at unForums, first of all...
Second, I was surfing www.slusho.jp's "Happy Talk" section... and an octopus was saying something along the lines of "I'm so full of Slusho I might burst !" I know it's not really a direct hint, but if this is new, I think it might be... well, interesting at the least.

I really don't think Slusho makes the people 'splode. and little aliens inside the people has been done before. didn't JJ say that this is totally original.
how do we know that the hazmat guys didn't inject her with something to make her expand? why do we consider the hazmat guys as the "good guys"?
