Thank you for calling TAGURATO

The number is to Tagruato. I phoned for the third time and left a message, and it still sounds like parafFUN.

Out of curiosity, what was the content of your message?

110% parafFun.

What is parafFun again? I remember it on the non-hacked website but didn't bother looking up the details.

I agree now; it does sound like ParafFun. BTW, here is a mirror of the original Tagruato: http://tagruato.cloverfieldclues.com/
parafFun is a wax, and if it's anything like paraffin wax, it's made from petroleum harvested from the ocean by Tagruato.

why would they be talking about a parafFun recall on the slusho distribution opportunities answering machine?

yeah i know what the message says. but the OP says he got the number off the slusho distribution page so im just pointing out that its strange that the slusho number got re-directed to a general tagruato machine. not questioning what you heard walrus Cool

it would probably be the same if we were to call a Paraffun phone number or another of Tagruato's subsidiaries. The number takes you to essentially a centralized call centre that handles all of Tagruato's products.

Lol, probably wasn't a good idea. Just make sure nobody named Chris Hanson calls you. Oh yeah, and make sure they're not from Dateline NBC news, haha. Shocked

Hmmm.... wonder why they would do a wax recall... and why Slusho would be announcing it.

The Tagruato contact number is that same number that is on the Slusho Distribution page. It makes sense... if you want to distribute Slusho, you would call the parent company.

Here is a recording of the new Tagruato voicemail message:

English: http://www.archive.org/download/TagruatoPhoneCall2/tagruato2.mp3
Japanese: http://www.archive.org/download/TagruatoPhoneCall2/tagruato2jp.mp3

The Japanese part is much longer, but a lot of it was after the beep. If anyone can translate the extra part, that would be super!

Here is what the English version says:

Quote:
Thank you for calling Tagruato. Due to high call volumes, your call has been transferred to an automated answering service. If you have questions concerning out Paraffun recall, please leave a message, and one of our associates will find and support you as soon as possible.

Here is the original message from October 3rd:

Quote:

I left a message last night, didn't leave my cell phone number, but I got a call back five minutes later from a private number. I didn't answer. They left a message that sounded like when someone tries to send a fax to your house phone, just beeps over and over again for about a minute straight. Has anyone else had this experience? (It's probably just a coincidence).

Probaly was just a wrong number or a coindcidence. Until someone else gets a simalar call, probaly it was a mistake.

And on a separate note, could you please change your avatar, "its huge"

My Japanese is very spotty, but the first operator uses words like "MESSEJI" and "KONTAKUTO", for 'message' and 'contact', so that first op is translating. However, the second operator repeatedly says a number, followed by
kudasai' or 'please'. For example, you can hear "roku o shite kudasai". She's saying something like 'if you wish to reach so-and-so department, please press 1", 2, 3 ,4, 5, 6, and so on.

I don't even remember hearing a second operator yesterday; they may have updated it again! But it's worth a shot to press a number during the second operator's speech.

Okay, I called again. Less than 2 seconds after the 'beep', the second operator began speaking. Did that happen to anyone who called yesterday, such as Red Walrus? It seems Red Walrus had time to record a message. At any rate, after the second operator stopped speaking. I pressed 3 at some point, which gave me another 'beep' and allowed me to re-record my message. I pressed 6. The second operator said (in Japanese) that my message was cancelled, and then a 3rd operator said (in English), that if I wished to dial an extension, to do so now. I did not have an extension, so the call ended promptly.

Now, if the second operator is a standard-procedure voice answering service, such as those in the U.S., then it's probably OOG. If the third operator is standard, then it is likely OOG; however, it's possible we need to enter an extension to receive a clue. Any thoughts?

I make a lot of calls for work, and I always push '0' when I get those pesky automated things. 9/10 times I get a real person.
