Yea Greek makes more sense and the part about Jesus' resurrection is in the end of each gospels. If I'm right in think the numbers are verses then this one has to come from Luke, because its the only one with that many verses.
Of course I couldn't actually translate it... so... I could be wrong... sorry if I am.

seems to be talking about when they removed the stone at Jesus' grave
to reveal he was no longer there. the two women had spices with them.
i dont recall what they were in or the exact location in the bible where this is. whatever the biblical greek is saying is the answer.

the verses are Matthew 27:37-44

That is indeed the solve.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
and now these three remain. Faith, hope, and Love. but the greatest of these is love.

and when she replies, she says

The spices puzzle.
I'm not going to put the answer itself here, just the clues.

First clue:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What does a grape become when it progresses?

Second clue:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Who was raised from the dead?

Finally:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Why not put that into Google with "spices" and see what comes up?

A solution

...to the code incursive posted.

Solution:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
WHITE RABBIT REAPPEARS AFTER POOL OF TEARS

I'll spend some time trying to make heads or tails of this. Pun intended.

So far, 2C, 2D, and 2H have been quoting from Chapter 1 of Alice In Wonderland - Down the Rabbit Hole.

The Pool of Tears is the name of the second chapter. Assuming we follow the same pattern, the White Rabbit (the Two of Clubs) will show himself again after the Threes are all revealed, at the end of chapter 2. This is also how it goes in the book.

leporidae

is the family name for 11 genera and around 54 species of hares and rabbits.

just thought is was something interesting that should be noted, continuing on the rabbit / alice in wonderland theme.

Interestingly enough, the username and password translate to something akin to:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Rabbit to be brought back"

Also, Nav figured out the phone number under the solve page.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
tut3800 translates to 888-3800, using the same 206 area code.

Big ups, indeed!

While it's great that we're working together as a community to solve these problems, I think it's important that everyone post their notes to give insight to how the answers were found, as well as anything else of interest they found along the way.

For example, this week when I was trying to figure out 2H's riddle, and saw the image of the man with arrows sticking out of him. The credited artist was Botticelli. I was familiar with his Birth of Venus, but was unaware of this particular work's name. A google Image search revealed him to be St. Sebsatian.

Wikipedia says that St. Sebastian was a Christian martyr who was killed in 287. You can read all about his exploits here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian Also in the wiki, they mention musical references to St. Sebastian such as his image being used in the R.E.M. video "Losing my religion" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7vs21ZKrKM ) as well as being mentioned in a Phillip Glass song, and a Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds tune. Interesting stuff, eh?

Even stranger, the wiki points out that the image of St. Sebastian was the subject for the engraver known as "The Master of Playing Cards" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_of_the_Playing_Cards) Does this have anything to do with our journey? I don't know, but it can't hurt to read, just in case.

I briefly came across a mention of Adam being told that he could take 4 fragrances with him when he was expelled from the Garden of Eden. Thinking perhaps these were spices, I looked into what he might have carried them around in but the search yielded nothing of note.

Looking for an answer for where 2H could keep her spices, I looked to the clues.

"Raised from the dead
Then became a grape
But I've progressed
I've moved on
I'm still holding on
To my spices.
What should I keep them in?
Bring it to me.
Jane"

Raised from the dead... Jesus? Google Jesus, Resurrection. Turns out that Lazarus was also resurrected. Jesus rose in 3 days, Lazarus in 4. An ALT tag on a previous page of 2H's said "four days" and there were Sting lyrics referencing "Lazarus Heart"

Then became a grape but I've progressed... Grape? Progressed? Wine perhaps?

...I'm still holding onto my spices... spices?

The writing in the background of the page I didn't understand. I thought maybe it was Hebrew so I threw that in as well.

A previous page quotes Alice in Wonderland: "in my going out altogether, like a candle"

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Google: Hebrew, Spice, Wine, Candle = 1st return is Havdalah - The ending which is also a beginning. (Wikipedia on Havdalah: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havdalah) Googling Havdalah, and Lazarus returns this link: http://www.lib.unc.edu/apop/thishappyland.html?counter=10 which also mentions raisins (progressed grape?) which could be completely coincidental.

So now I not only have learned the answer to what 2H should keep her spices in, I've learned about a Jewish sabbath ritual, that Lazarus was also resurrected, who the effeminate young boy is in the R.E.M. video was supposed to be, that Adam got to pack a bag when he left Eden, and some Swiss/German engraver had a weird title that might come into play later in the game.

Not to mention that each of the Deuces so far have shared musical selections with us that we may not have otherwise been exposed to. I'd never heard of the Teen Idles until 2D pointed them out. 2H and I have quite similar interest in music but I wasn't aware of the "Adam" track she posted. 2C gave us The Beatles, and Jefferson Airplane.

What I'm saying is that this is more than just finding the answers and getting to the finish line. It's about learning who the cards are, what they're about, and what they can teach us. We can also learn a great deal from each other, as we are clearly a smart, talented bunch of passengers. Just think of what we can become if we work together.

Communication is important. Every detail matters.
