Anyway, a couple notes:

1. No one has emailed me wanting to be a blog author. I suppose that's okay, so instead, email me when you think there's business to be conducted on the blog side. That is, if for example someone writes an article and it has been edited/commented on here and is ready to be uploaded to the blog, email me, as it's easier to check my email (which I'm already doing) than to watch this thread like a hawk. Okay.

2. I hadn't really planned on the blog being such a success. That's not to say I didn't want it to succeed, just that I try all kinds of shit all the time, and mostly my ideas tend to fall flat. So I sorta expect nothing to come of it. The opposite of the usual being the case here, I'm going to find the time to really concentrate on the blog over the next week. That means design tweaks, as well as other elements. What I plan to do is visit other, real, environmentalist sites (green peace et al) for ideas as to what ours should have. The aim is to really act the part, if you get my meaning. So that's my promise to you. The project may fizzle out, or it may get supper serious. I'm okay with both.

3. I've received word that our thinly veiled site is still fooling people. That's not the aim. However, since it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what's going on, I'm not too worried. Also, as part of fixing the place up, I certainly see some more explicit copy going up on the blog.

4. This thread is long. If you said something, suggested a change, wrote an article, did a graphic that I haven't picked up on, email me.

Maybe this thread should be renamed "Join The Effect", so people from elsewhere can recognize its connection without having to actually read it (which, the way it is, would have to be by chance, because, to an outsider, there's nothing to distinguish it from the other threads...if you get what I mean).

That's why I think this thread should be renamed...to make it easier to find out that The Effect is not IG. I don't think we should have to tell anybody that, 'cause that sorta ruins the feel.
