So, I was thinking of trying to get in touch with the writers and producers of this episode to find out how they found out about ARGs, etc. Is anyone else other than me interested in this info? I would love to talk to them.

Yeah, would love to know who they talked to for reference materials/ideas.

This past week they did a comic book episode and the math genius spotted the forgeries by a "code" on the front cover of the copies - lines drawn at different lengths - when the line lengths were lined up against a letter & number column, they spelled out a name & date. Very much like some stuff done on EDOC shirts and what we've seen on other ARG puzzles.

Does someone at Numb3rs plays ARGs??? Or is 42E on their payroll???

Oh man, rose, that would be awesome beyond belief. As I've probably made abundantly clear, I absolutely adore Numb3rs.

And kona, according to a recent post by Six, there are apparenlty signs that 42E might be behind Chain Factor, so that's a distinct possibility.
