 		I still think it's IG, but why wouldn't they have changed it by now? Monday has come and gone in Japan, and is quickly fading here in the States. Don't you think it would be appropriate for them to have changed it back by now?

 		I don't think they are as concerned about making things look like they're happening in real time as they are with letting this image be up long enough for all the people following this to have had a chance to see it and study it.

It's not unthinkable that the original site might never return. It may have served its purpose by now.

 		I was surprised nobody did anything earlier; it's not like they celebrate Thanksgiving in Japan. They could have caught it Friday (depending on when the Hack occured).

Looks to be north of the Itoku station. Relatively far away, but ya never know!

I'm starting to think they (PM's) might actually be using this Tsunami, incorporating a real event into their own backstory somehow. First, there's the wave on the hacked Tagruato page - the "Kanagawa" wave. Also, Beth posted that 'surfing the Tsunami' vid. on her myspace page.

I couldn't find any apparent links between the location or date of the 2004 Tsunami and any drilling stations, but I did find something weird - December 26th seems to be a bad luck day:

12/26/03 - 1:56 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) - The Bam Earthquake. Epicenter in Southeast Iran. [Name comes from the "Bam Citadel" which was practically destroyed in the quake]

12/26/04 - 00:58:53 UTC - Great Sumatra-Andaman Earthquake (which caused the "Asian Tsunami" aka "Boxing Day Tsunami"). Epicenter pictured above, in iconsumer's post.

12/26/06 - 12:25 UTC - Hengchun Earthquake - epicenter off Southwest coast of Taiwan (specifically, 21.9 km. deep in the Luzon Strait).

I don't know if this means anything, but it seemed interesting. Also, given the newscast in the Teaser Trailer with "Earthquakes?" as the header... maybe some significance..?

 		I know it, lol. My birth weight also pointed to December 26, 2006 (or any other year that ended in 6, really), and I was born at 9:11pm, but that's a whole other discussion.
This can NOT be a coincidence.

I'm sure someone in the past has mentioned the earthquake aspect, but it seems to have more significance using your theory. It's not uncommon for writers to use history as a resource, it gives the storyline greater depth (no pun intended). But NY1 in the first trailer mentions a possible earthquake, so I think you're on to something.

 		something thats been bothering me about the hack, is the man behind evil Ganu.. has anyone mentioned it before?



theres definitely a person to the left of Ganu, but it is not ganu, the shoulder is different and is a totally different person. any ideas?

 		It's been mentioned, but I think we're just writing it off as an editing glitch, an unintended shadow of Ganu. I'm skeptical, though, having looked at it again - the 'shoulder' seems to be at the wrong angle for it to be a shadow.
