Even if this theory were correct, how would we ever actually establish it? If the entire movie is told from the point of view of one of these people filming what's going on, it's not incredibly plausible that anyone's going to sit them down and say "Okay, so here's what's going on the with the monster, here's where it came from, here's why the little monsters are attacking particular people, here's a quick rundown of the history of Slusho, I know you thought it was a lion but it's not, blahblahblah".
Right? The only people we've seen in the trailers that would have authority and information would be people with the military, and they don't seem incredibly cooperative.

maybe HUD gets in over his head and stumbles across military classified infomation in the form of videos and plays one and captures it on his HD camcorder ??? or stumbles across a tagruato US based lab....
i know wild stab in the dark...
either way, this ARG is mainly to give the story behind the film some meat it doesnt necessarily have to be shown on the silver screen

Wow, Tagruato's cooperation with US military - it sounds interesting!

like i said:

unless the whole tagruato/etc thing is explained in the film, which i kind of doubt... but some sort of explanation COULD be provided by the military or hazmat people, when they meet with them.
i don't see why they couldn't do it, and it would probably work like this. why would there be people in hazmat suits if there wasn't some kind of agent/parasite about?

if slusho is somehow the cause of what's going on, it has to be explained in the film for it to make sense. the majority of people who are going to see it will have no clue why all that's happening if it isn't.

well i do think Ganu has ulterior motives of ruling the world, who knows what he does with all of his money and with the amount of back handers the government take.

Who knows? Maybe the reason they're really starting to push stuff like Slusho! in Heroes is so that more people will go home and google it and at least be introduced to the concepts at work. It seems like they could very easily have a giant backstory never introduced in the movie (so that moviegoers would be able to enjoy the film simply as a monster movie), but the rest of us would get the deeper meaning.

anyways, i don't see how they can just have handheld camcorder footage and nothing else. There must be some cinematic footage depicting what they can't film on handheld to get viewers up to date with the storyline.

Also you have Yoshida medical Research stating they genetically manipulate organisms.
The whole trailer and teaser remind be of someone in the process of editing film like in that Robin Williams film, Final Cut? And with the soldiers' face being blurred it shows it has been edited with. Also with all the speed changes and the titles appear like they are being worked on.

I always thought that You Can't Drink just Six referred to the flavors. All of them are so good, that people mix them to create new tastes. I guess I am wrong...

The only way the secret ingredient could be the monsters blood is if they copied it and mass produced it in a labratory.
Are we to think a huge syringe has been imbedded in the monsters back for years and years?

Yeh, They got it tied in a chair drawing blood. I'm saying the seabed nectar is it, not the blood...Thats what is being put in the food.

I think you've got it backwards.
The monster's blood is kaitei no mitsu aka Seabed's Nectar, not that they put it into the monster. Problem with that of course is that kaitei no mitsu has to be kept in a near frozen state, not too conducive to a circulatory system that is functioning.

Doesnt that recipe on 1-18 site have the seabed nectar as a ingredient?
Think they are passing it in food not in slusho at the party...you see that sushi tray there.

to be fair, most people won't even notice the slusho in heroes... a monster movie with no backstory is risky, though it could be successful, and i expect mass advertising in january... but you have to keep in mind the only marketing for this so far, besides the trailers/teasers, is this arg, which most people will miss. viral can be a hit or a complete miss. i'd put my money on some sort of explanation for what's happening in the film.

I agree sort of I agree with some prvious posts that the seabed nectar is connected with the monster....maybe even its blood. As far as needing a big syringe to get the 'nectar', Tagruato already has those(deep sea drilling). That would mean there could be several of these monsters, one for each of the drills. And, I may be wrong on this, but there is one drill on the map that was supposed to be operational in September but it still isn't. This could be the one that the monster in the movie comes froms.
This 'nectar' could be the secret ingredient in Slusho! and Parafun, and used by YMR. All three are tied to Tagruato. This is just my theory anyways.
