There are some documents in
Has somebody recently checked boldfutura.jp, believed to be empty?
Even if boldfutura OOG, it's interesting, that it is not really empty. Some directories you can find under http://www.boldfutura.jp/ftp/

The most directories are in "access denied" mode,
but there is a .doc-file named "Zack 110907.doc"

This is still bogus.
The word is "rid", not "ride".
Official communications of any sort have complete addressing, not just first names, when done in .doc format - which would be for a printed letter anyway. Email is not uploaded or sent in .doc format.
FTP is not done on port 80. It's also not done as an HTML document like that. FTP rendered to a browser over HTTP would have the usual 'index of' and have doctype declarations, not just some cheesy hand coded file like this has. The directory navigations "." and ".." is just someone trying to look clever.

So, how is it you are so amazingly aware of this when nobody else was?

 		So, what even tipped you off to look for such a bogus FTP? This isn't something you'd 'trip on' by trying to gain FTP access. This isn't where or how an FTP client would try to access the site either.

For those of you wanting to know the REAL FTP access interface for boldfutura.jp, the URL is ftp://ftp.boldfutura.jp or even just ftp://boldfutura.jp - and that gives you the proper user/pass prompt.

I agree, the ftp access would be ftp://boldfutura.jp. If you found a subdirectory (ftp) it is probably a hoax or a really poor job of webdesign and planning. If someone has access to ftp upload/download they would use separate program like ftp Pro or Filezilla.

 		One thing is undoubtful: the webmasters of boldfutura.jp, whoever they are, are reading this forum. Because I've searched with google before my postings, and nobody seemed to mention the file "Zack 110907.doc".

Even if it's OOG, their "in game vision" could be interesting, who knows?..

I found "The Effect" also cool idea, even if it is really OOG Wink

No doubt about it, they do follow this forum. I suppose I would too, if I'd blown $100 registering a URL for a gamejack that hooked nobody. The "document" would give the website a short-lived credibility jump with the credulous that would quickly be demolished by the webmasters' continued incompetence and Tagruato's stubborn insistence that there ISN'T a BF site. Smile
