The most perfect name
EVER

I think Faggot is a pretty good name for the monster. Kinda just rolls off the tongue, huh?

I don't know how that Aphynos thing would end up 12 stories tall hunched over because of 'deep sea nectar'. Genetic engineer all you want, but that is ridiculous. Razz

Hello everybody! Lets all just call it Aphynos anyway... It'll catch on.

Just hope for Abram's sake the creature isn't named differently in the script.

That's flat hilarious.
The mental image is just absolutely hysterical.
It's much like the 'alien perspective' where if you didn't know the language you'd presume the screams of those running from the monster must be the name of the creature. Just imagine Dr. Solomon from 3rd Rock from the Sun musing "The creature's name is apparently "oh sh!t".

one would expect the translation of the monsters name to differ from person to person.

Those who are religious will repeat the monsters name many times whilst running away:

OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!

those who have bowel problems will shout

Oh Sh!t!

and so on and so forth.

there are many examples around

Oups, we'll have some transcendental problems with "Oh my God" in this context... Wink

That sort of has a "Monty Pythonian" quality to it.

Alfonso?

the monster is Alfonso Ribiero? like Carlton Banks? Upper Class, twenty something African American with a taste for Michael Bolton and collar-popped poloshirts?

In all honesty like the creativity Eddy, good thinking
