These centers will undergo a full renovation in the next three years, making way for modern facilities with up-to-date research , technology, and rehabilitation equipment.
Gee how nice of Tagruato to help those poor animals out by turning the shelters into RESEARCH labs.

"This one will come home to Ganu!" said acrobatic Smiler! Yuuka as she clutched the lucky puppy, "He just couldn't get enough Zoom!" With the center in Takayama, the girls completed their nationwide tour of Japan's animal shelters. While all the shelters received a generous donation from the Tagruato Cares! foundation, the centers with the most Slusho!-friendly animals were purchased and welcomed into the Tagruato family.
That sounds interesting, it's like they are cherry picking the animals for further testing, i wonder if they did the same with Humans.

Yeah. Maybe they look for people who are more prone to addiction. It says this dog drank it for like 20 minutes

You know, i know it's fake, but the article really got to me. I have a black lab that was a rescue dog and I just thought about if someone dunked her in an icy cold vat of slush.
