[PRESS] Cloverfield on Yahoo Hello all. I don't get to post much but I thought I'd mention this just in case anyone is interested.
Yahoo's front page is discussing the viral aspects of Cloverfield this morning.

Good find, the article also links to this page:
http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2007/11/update_cloverfield_monster_not.html
Which has a VERY clear video of the monster sequence from trailer 2.

Good to see Cloverfield getting some exposure.

That's some decent coverage, but one of the articles still references Ethan Haas.
Bad research, good publicity.

So while its disappointing that "ethan haas" and "cthulhu" are getting significant amounts of hits, it's great that CloverfieldClues is getting quite a bit of hits. Hopefully they'll fallow his various links back to us, and the EHWR and Cthulhu rumours will once again vanish.
But just to be safe... put the url to this particular forum on your facebook/myspace.
P.S. A few weeks ago, 1-18-08news.com (or a supporter) took credit for dispelling EHWR rumours on the Ethan Haas Was Right Wikipedia page. Uch. I don't like those guys.

"which was proven wrongby a website know as www.1-18-08news.com."
WTH, can someone edit that Wiki so it at least is correct English?

That has been edited a few times, then I got rid of it earlier this morning. I just linked you to an oldid.

Cool. Wiki editing is something I should get around to figuring out, just no time.

I really enjoy that they think that cloverfield clues and those websites are the best place to get information. YEAH IF YOU WANT TO GET NONSENSE!
I think if you want to get everything you have to come here. It's like employing a team of nerdy little elves to do your bidding. Things I don't possibly have the time to do myself are all together in one place.
Thank you unfiction.

Actually Cloverfield Clues is a good website and Dennis is a contributor.

I'll second that. Cloverfieldclues.com and the UF boards are the only sources I use for getting my updates, info and analysis. Dennis at C-Clues does an outstanding job keeping the site up-to-date with the most accurate and current information.

Thanks everyone.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
I think Unfiction has a little too much information for most people (i.e. the general public).

Look at it this way...
unFiction and other fora are the laboratories where artifacts and data are collected and tested.
CloverfieldClues and the like are where results are reported.
The 1-18-08 Despoiler Wiki and other topical wiki are where the verified results are documented.
Yahoo is one degree separated, reporting on how all of the above are working - even if fairly poorly so.
