Ah, but you just spoke of the reputation living up to the hype. Many a movie with a 'known' plot has had hype and not lived so fully up to the reputation. What little criticism of LoTR's reputation (vs the book, it's original source of 'hype') was drowned out easily by the praise.
Compare that to Jurassic Park, or for an example where the plot was basically known but not all the details - Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

I agree, we cant not believe him, his name is MR.leak if he wasnt leaking why would he call himself such.

In any case, another thing which can prevent leaks is basic potty training.
