also posted in other thread... is it possible that information gathered from a "whois" may have changed?

A whois is just domain "ownership" information on a domain & the IP address of the server (or webhost) that the website is located on. It in NO way translates to when any page of the website itself was last updated.

My guess is that is was hacked because we didn't find the real clue hidden in it the first time.
Only a theory.

If so, think we'll be any better at finding that clue this time?

The hacker are fanciless... The same image, same message...
Either we really miss something (like hax0rz mean: "hey people, didn't you get the main thing? Are you that blind?"), or they are boring guys...

Quite possibly the new hack is to establish the struggle between the hackers (who ever they may be) and Tagruato. It gives the storyline more depth in its background.

That seemed to make sense, that theory, but I think since they're able to keep track of their sites, they would know if we had found the clue, y'know? If they saw we were fumbling around they would've simply kept the picture up. So I think this is to get the plot moving ahead, for a new press release.

destegging I know there are words in the image dumbo, ogre whatnot, can you hide other text via a steg program in a .jpg? Honestly dont have the software or knohow, but could one of those words be the key to destegging the pic? Did we even try this last time? Seems like a haxxory thing to do, putting larger info hidden in steg.
yes I kno we have had nothing to Destegg yet in this ARE/ARG, but if a hacker did this He would have left a signature in either the source of the page or in the pic itself.

Oh, I've read these whole thread - really good work, lot of things found. But the clue, the riddle is not dissolved, as far I know.

haha its ok sry. i wasnt just talking about u .... there are a couple of people who do that...anyway
it might be very simple and most of us just went into far too much detail. maybe there is just a word or number we can find ,type into google and find another website...

That is weird; not so much that it was hacked again, but that it's the exact same picture. I don't get the purpose behind that same picture being replanted. This Second Incident was something I expected, but I also expected a different picture.
