My original speculation is that the codes mean nothing, that they are simply representing foreign languages (Japanese and Italian) in the original emails. However, in the ARG world, nothing can be taken for granted, so there it is, all laid out.

Note: The code in the Collective Protective email is more than likely a case number, as many people before me have pointed out.
