I can confirm this 100% ...I received my Slusho hat yesterday with the same insert...I received the right half of the tagruato letter. The note on the back says:

American,
The Chrai station holds a dark secret. Good people are going missing. Expect further communication in the near future.

- The Whistle Blower

This is an awesome collector's piece!!

Could you send in a scan, or other picture of the right half?

I'm not surprised that yours reads differently than mine. That last sentence is probably wrong, because I was using an online translator to figure out the words, because I only know how the symbols sound. I'm pretty sure that the first couple of sentences, with the exception of the missing kanji, are correct.[/quote]

You got the "Level 1" correct, and the date (that was the easy part), but the part about "site of", et cetera, seems shaky.

I'm still working on it. Let's hope for the best. (I swear if this is fake and me and Bacon are working on this for nothing... Evil or Very Mad )

So it's the other half, that would give us the rest of the memo. A scan (of both sides, 'cause that would apparently also clear up the "Expect" debate) would really be appreciated.

The general idea of that "site" sentence is right, I think, just the specific structure is wrong. It'd probably read, when fully translated, something like "Concerning Site # of #" or something.

To imagine......

There is a tiny teacup of a woman, tearing thousands of sheets of paper in two and stuffing Slusho! boxes for minimum wage. I feel terrible.

Like I said before, if you don't believe it, just wait and watch. No need to keep annoing us of those trying to get work done.

The only issue with your theory is, #'s are just that, translated into #'s. "4" in Kanji is, surprise surprise, "4".

But I think you're on the right track there.

Pending a confirmation scan of this second letter, here's my two cents of what I think we're seeing here.

I think we're actually looking at two words. The last letter in "expecting" or what ever it is, looks like an A. In fact, it looks just like the A in American.

I thought the same thing, with the "A" and all. But I really, guys, believe that that single word is probably something very simple that has the same connotation as "expect". That's my two cents.

Also, still working on the translation. Sons of guns used informal script for some of this Kanji. Confused
