Start with something easy. What does the watermark say? That will give us a clearer picture of what you could expect in the document

Guys, I am trying to read HIS half of the picture, but that glare and gloss on it makes it too light. If only we had a scanned copy, then we could photoshop the two pieces together...

Translation is coming slowly. They used Kanji, along with many other symbols, and since Kanji is the hardest to translate, someone who actually READS Japanese may get you the answer before I can.

Nevertheless, I'm still trying.

On the rkr7 scan, you can sorta see the writing through the paper...I can't really see it in this later photo, but maybe its because its a picture, idk. Regardless, I'd still like to see a picture of the back of it just to confirm what it says...but so far this glittery paper looks like it might be similar.

sorry...no scanner...it's whistle blower not wistle ....very clear on my copy. my back looks hand written it's slightly different then the other copy. I will forward a pic to Patrick.

Hey all, been following for awhile and this priqued my interest enough to chip in, so....

The big watermark across the letter ( 重要機密 ) is, I THINK, pronounced juuyoukimitsu. Either way, it mean something like top secret.

I'm working on the rest of the letter, but I really suck at Japanese, so I'm sloooowww. Smile

Let you all know if I figure something else out...
