It's a virus that's been circulating for a while. Don't open the attachment.

Yes, this is definitely a virus. Probably one of the Klez worms. Hopefully you have antivirus software and/or you didn't open the attachment? I only know about this because when I got my new domain and email address some guy/gal sent me this same email everyday loaded with the virus. It's a nasty little worm virus. Here's some info on it in case you do have it...

If for some reason you don't have an antivirus program and you opened the attachment, here's an online virus scan that you can use until you can go out and buy one...

Also, a good way to find out if weird emails that you get are viruses is just by plugging the text of the email into google.com. I did it with the text of your email and got a whole bunch of sites about the virus. Good luck!
