"Hyperion and his disciples" sounds almost like a tribute LP to Half Life.

(Yes, I'll shut up now.)

Out of the Cloverfield myspaces, glasshelmets is the only one that is consistently logging in (once every 2 days or so), yet has not had a single update in over a month. It seems a bit fishy to me. But it does seem like it would fit into the game, with the J&T.com mention of the band. I guess I'm just throwing out OOG accusations because I'm getting so IMPATIENT! Evil or Very Mad

They updated their only blog "Hello All" a couple of times. They said a couple of new songs should be put on this week.

Ha!

Maybe i wasnt clear enough ( i'm not english sorry )...It's an ID3 tag included in the second mp3 of the band, Ockems Razor. You can download it via the myspace flash player. I was messing with the pitch/height/tempo thru Audacity in order to decypher the lyrics ( assuming it is IG otherwise i wouldnt have wasted my damn time ) and i went to look for extra infos and i found it.

First song doesnt have that much info, except it was encoded thru Logic Pro 8.0.0

Zing.

I'm kinda amazed nobody noticed that, whether all this being IG or OOG..

EDIT : again the myspace link so you can get your own mp3 and extract its own tags in case you dont believe me

http://www.myspace.com/theglasshelmets

Also, it seems that each program doesnt extract the tags the same way so try VLC and Winamp or Audacity. VLC is the easiest for that as being the lightest ....

The Glass Helmets on MySpace really doesn't seem like it's the same band Jamie is talking about.

In her 4th video, she mentions how punk is hard to strip to.

"I'm gonna do a song by the Glass Helmets, which is your favorite band and here it goes...
[Jamie strips]
Anyway, punk's really hard to strip to, but you get it..."

The MySpace band is VERY metal. The MySpace page was created 11/12/07, which just so happens to be when Jamie's video was released. And their official band site, www.theglasshelmets.com leads to a dead GoDaddy site.

I feel it's pretty safe to assume this is OOG. Especially since pretty much all the "friends" of the band are members of UF.

Could be friends of the production crew or something like that, given a plug through the video.

And the whois data shows the site was registered on the same day as the myspace, and whois has been just about the most basic test for OOGness.

Oh, and the clincher:
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Ennio Morricone, Grande Ufficiale OMRI[1] (born November 10, 1928; sometimes also credited as Dan Savio or Leo Nichols) is an Italian composer especially noted for his film scores. He has composed and arranged scores for more than 500 film and television productions[2][3]. He is best known for the characteristic sparse and memorable soundtracks of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) and Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) which have been frequently cited by many in the film industry as some of the greatest film scores ever composed.

I'm not familiar with myspace music. Does the download link usually wind up giving you just part of the song repeated? I was trying to listen to the downloaded versions and they're just snippets of the songs repeated, where as the songs play out in their entirety on the page. Is that normal?

This is the comment tag for the green force, by the way

000009DB 000007A4 0000551C 00008942 0001F13E 0000C84E 00007B73 00007D44 0000A687 0000656D; 00000000 00000210 00000B10 000000000082FE60 00000000 005EFCBD 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000

seems like an odd thing to leave in the comments, with no other tag info. But maybe logic pro does that? (edit its clearly Hex encoding, but it doesn't decode to anything useful in ascii) (but in Unicode ... different story, many prove to be Japanese [i think] characters)
