I haven't found an exact match for the name, but I'm guessing a type of anemone found near the Sunda Islands, which are in the same region as the Itoku drilling station.

Thats pretty close. Id have it translated as
カの手
Directly it is
Chikara No Te = Power's Hand
But like most things in Japanese when refering to ownership as I believe this is the case here and also when refering to body parts such as Te = Hand/Hands or Ashii=Leg/legs the single word stands for both.
So カの手 Should be translated as Hands of Power. Plus it make more sense as it justifies the logo

So someone thinks they heard 'Kazui' which doesn't appear to be a correct Japanese name.

It's very easy to find out if somethings a genuine name or not, just use google image search.

Here's a Kazui for example:

I'm not saying dates can't be faked, but the Tidowave.com post about Ichikawa's death was made 4 days ago. Of course, since this site hadn't been found as of yet, we can't be certain. But, if it was, it would undeniably make it IG. Also, Kazui is a legit Japanese name; just slightly less common than the other names we thought of.

Doubtful. Teddy would have had to steal them a month before this guy was found dead, and I imagine he'd report the theft of all his work-related documents to his superiors. Smile

Interesting parallel between Ganu & Noriko, and TIDO's obsession with "Mother" Earth...

Ganu was called to Slusho! Laughing by Noriko, in his 'dream' - at least, according to the Slusho! history.

Also, someone mentioned "Suzume Soga" earlier - she's mentioned in the little bit about the Sunda Anemone - she's also mentioned in one of the articles on Tagruato's page as being a Company Spokeswoman.

We've got to find Toshiro Ichigawa, aged 39. He's the surviving son of the YMR scientist who was recently killed b/c he knew too much! Ok, it doesn't say that anywhere, but c'mon... duh. Wink

Feel free to yell at me if I'm stating the obvious.
Sequence of events:
Kazui Ichigawa "uncover[ed] a magnificent discovery" that "The Chuai station hides a dark secret," and "[g]ood people are going missing." He tries to tell his family, but finds that "all letters to the outside will first
pass through [Tagruato's] communication center, or they will not go out." So he writes the notes to the Americans, and signs them "The Whistle-Blower". A worker sees him writing these notes, and report it to the Judgment Council, because "[i]f one witnesses an act of misconduct, and neglects to report it to the Council, Chuai's department bureau will enforce principles and regard it as a violation." The Judgment Council orders the death of Ichigawa and his family as punishment, and breaks into his house and steals his computers to eliminate any incriminating files.
Missing anything?

It's a pretty good timeline, however we really don't know who the whistle blower is. I think that they are someone that is still alive and kicking. I don't think we are done with that part of the ARG yet.
