While we're on the subject of the company's name, what exactly do those characters mean "Cruel-itin board" mean? Perhaps I can get a friend of mine to translate.

I think TheAirman means the three Japanese characters. That was the name of Tagruato previously. Translates to 'Hand of Power.' See Tagruato's history page:

It could also be that Kazui Ichigawa was one of the people that discovered Ol' Grumpypants. Maybe Tagruato wanted to pursue some course of action that Kazui wasn't willing to take part in. I think Kazui was likely silenced by Tagruato, but he might not be Whistle Blower because: (1) that would mean we won't hear from Whistle Blower anymore; and, (2) Kazui was a YMR scientists and Whistle Blower is probably someone who works for Slusho! since the messages came in Slusho t-shirt shipments.

Speaking of t-shirts, what's up with the - Nothing Says, "I Care About Our Planet" Like a Snappy T-Shirt - on the TIDO site? That, and the little bit about the Anemone make this group seem pretty... umm.. what's the word? "Unprofessional," might be a nice way of putting it. They seem to have a very naive and polarized (good vs. evil) view of things. There's a chance that T.I.D.O. might end up being responsible for the attack - in a 28 Days Later sort of way. Maybe their attempts to sabotage Tagruato end up causing big, big trouble (for NYC).

And, yeah, I think Teddy is definitely part of this group (assuming it's IG). The question is whether Teddy is Le Bandit Vert himself?

BTW, as informative as this site is (we now know the allegations that caused Tagruato's predecessor to shut down, and proof that they do kill those who get in their way), it's also a pretty comical depiction of far-left environmental groups with immature social commentary.

We contacted Tagruato spokeswoman Suzume Soga, reasonably demanding a complete deconstruction of the station...

I agree whole-heartedly. I'm sure someone by this point has already done that.

No wonder the hack went back up. It was SO SIMPLE we looked right passed it and tried to complicate things.

That was to be my next allusion. I think he may indeed be one of the key players(The Green Bandit). And i think that the unintentional release of a monster by doing what they thought was right type of plot could be a very possible scenario, considering the way this will start going if T.I.D.O. is confirmed IG.

teddy as the bandit

Im not sure if Teddy is the bandit... It says that the group was founded in 1982... Assuming that we are staying with the 20 somethings age idea.. that would make him just about 2 years old...

Yeah, a lot of the site could be taken as a caricature of left-wing groups; but this?

Quote:
When was the first time you heard the angelic voice of our Mother Earth calling you to battle? Share what she said, how you responded, and how it changed your life for the better.

That's just cult-ish.

EDIT: and this:
Quote:
Make no mistake -- Mother Earth is at war. Her adversary is Mankind. It is a vicious foe, ruthless, pitiless, and presided over by fools. That is why She needs us. We will fight at Her side till the day She takes us Elsewhere.

But we're not saying the green bandit has existed as long as the company. From how it looks, his presence is a very recent one.

That's an interesting thought. What if they cause the a massive spillage of sea beds nectar.

From the TIDO website:

Quote:
We were founded in Paris in 1982 by the notorious conservationist known only as Le Bandit Vert.

TJ Miller is just gonna rip on this group in the movie when he hears about this.
EDIT: Cruel-etin board. LMFAO. Liberals are funny when they're angry.

well, we now have a pretty solid idea of what "scares" and "confuses" the monster into coming straight into NYC.

(maybe)

Actually that quote brings out some addiitonal details on the people that are part of TIDOW. You can tell form the John Deere reference that the person that wrote that is American. I don't think that many other cultures would use or understand a brand reference like that.

Heh, guess i did skim a little. Well then, to rephrase, he could be the current Green Bandit. It's not uncommon for someone of great authority to pass down the name and identity when they grow to old and feeble to continue on.
