Good eye! Ok, so Teddy isn't the Green Bandit, unless Teddy is much older than Jamie, and that's why Lena wasn't too thrilled about their hookup. Have we had any indications from Jamie about Teddy's age? I seriously doubt it though.

Also, FWIW, I was kind of surprised when Beth posted that 'surfing the tsunami' video on her myspace - I sent her that video in the course of a 'lateral riddle' messaging-conversation b/c she liked surfing; now, I'm thinking that she, or rather They (PM's), posted that video because they knew that TIDO would come into play eventually. It's further support that "The Wave" is IG.

I dont think that his age is mentioned... But assuming he has been around their group his age should be pretty close. Also, don't they refer to him as "chin strap"???

Maybe a paramilitary reference? Or he has a really gross beard???

Nice new site, as everyone does, I also hope that this is IG

So protests huh?

You've got to organize to revolutionize!
Last month, TIDOWave hosted a rally in front of Tagruato corporate headquarters in Marunouchi. Attended by over 200 perturbedpicketers, we heard testimonials from folks directly affected by Tagruato's wasteful ways. Le Bandit Vert was on the bullhorn, lambasting the company and informing the curious public of their misdeeds. He irritated Ganu and friends enough for them to call the police and break up our peaceful gathering. But not before literally thousands of locals heard our message, all of whom will think twice before buying Tagruato products in the future. You too can hold a TIDOWave rally in your hometown! Use this site as a forum to meet, gather, and organize fellow activists. Let's show Tagruato that all over the world, people are coming together to demand change.

they did what I thought could work for the effect Razz lol even before I posted it.. Razz

I don't know how much of a stretch this might be, but with you guys talking about candles and stuff I think it would be cool to post something about a fake incident, such as a protest or something at The Effect Blog.

Like a bunch of guys from The Effect putting ParaFun Candles over Body Bags at the sidewalk of Tagruato Headquarters. Or vandalizing their propaganda.

You know, maybe with some of the activists arrested.

And regarding the wave t-shirt:

How do you represent The Wave?

there's already a famous brand that took inspiration from Hokusai

Someone needs to post a comment regarding the Slusho Whistle Blower in the Dish the dirt on Tag's dirty deeds! post...

And...instead of buying another Slusho hat, send some money to Tidowave.com, and see what happens.......!

True.

That was a good catch.

TIDO kind of freaks me out, personally. Particularly the bit eliwein quoted from, where they say:

Quote:
By nature, Les Guerriers de Mère-Terre are not a violent or destructive assemblage. We believe that every problem has a peaceful solution, and will do all that we can to avoid bloodshed. However, evil forces such as Tagruato often refuse to adhere to diplomacy. When they snap our olive branch over their greedy knee, we must use it to stab them in the heart.

Come on. You're non-violent or you're not. It sounds like they're saying "We're non-violent, unless you won't listen to us, in which case we'll make an exception."

Haven't people been talking about whether Jamie dies before the movie starts? Because the more I think about it, the more I don't know if I'd open that package from Teddy. Not that there's any reason it should be anything bad, but still. (/crazy speculation)

Done and done at 1:13 am. Yeah I jumped all over that as soon as the sight popped up. As of right now I have not received any email and my comment is awaiting moderation still.

The dates do match up very well with the story on the hack corresponding with the hack and the story about the dead biologist.

So unless they where able to somehow set up a retroactive site date and then post these messages retroactivly I'de say it's IG

Well she's in the photos on 1-18-08.com which look like they're taken at the party.

Have a look at Direct Action. Violence is never condoned, but it is recognised as an effective approach whenever diplomacy fails.

Sort of like the whole Boston Tea Party thing.

Meh.

I don't know if I think this is real or not. Seems like enough information and validation to be real, but it just seems too...soon....I guess.

We just had one big clue (the ripped up papers from Slusho!), why would they release another one RIGHT after?

I want it to be real, I guess, but it's too soon.

That's just cult-ish.

EDIT: and this:
Quote:
Make no mistake -- Mother Earth is at war. Her adversary is Mankind. It is a vicious foe, ruthless, pitiless, and presided over by fools. That is why She needs us. We will fight at Her side till the day She takes us Elsewhere.

Yes Cultish, I hear this thrown around alot in our neck of the woods. The GAIA TREE-HUGGING HIPPY Theory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaia_hypothesis

*cough* excuse me. Anyway, if you read the site through you'll see that TIDO really warms up to the idea of violence, destroying the parasitic human scum and whatnot. The part about them not condoning violence is, in my opinion, standard boilerplate so they're not seen as 'terrorists'.

I'm pretty sure we were supposed to find the site from the original hack way back before the piece of paper.

But I also think the point of this site in the game is to report the note and memo to these guys, so they do make sense together if that is indeed the point of this site

So wait (going far fetched here), it could be possible that because of the deaths at the Chuai Station, TIDO got SO pissed at Tagruato that they mutated a monster or parasite or whatever and sent it to destroy the station. OR maybe they just sent a monster to destory the station, causing the mysterious deaths.

Then, because they didn't think it through, the monster continued on swimming in the ocean until it popped up in NYC and started destroying everything.

Sounds crazy, but kind of cool at the same time.

Yes that does sound both far fetched and cool. I'm sure it's similar to 28 days though where they go in hoping to fix the problem(probably through a bomb) which sets whatever loose at the Chuia station

(This is also why I think the games end is going to be TIDO releasing the monster a couple days before 1-18-0Cool
