I'm seding a message to them regarding the messages in the Slusho! packages.
"Did you guys know that someone at the Slusho! company is sending out messages in the mail? They've written on the back of Tagruato fax letters about something happening at Chuai station."

There's been a lot of talk that Cloverfield is going to be an homage to The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, b/c of the many similarities, and b/c J.J. Abrams has said he was a big fan of that movie (somewhere, can't remember where I read that, but it was legit).

Anyway, in the original story (that Beast from 20,000 Fathoms was based on), written by Ray Bradbury, the monster made its way to the coast because it was attracted by a lighthouse's foghorn - the noise was similar to some kind of mating call or something. In the post-it about Humpback whales on TIDO, it says:

Well, apparently the TIDOWave site has nothing about Slusho!, hinting that it's not a problem with them. Didn't someone a while back say that Slusho! wasn't really important in the movie?

So maybe Slusho! is only where the whistle blower is working and how he finds out about the monster or whatever. Maybe the contents of Slusho! aren't important at all.

Of course, this would bash thousands of theories, so I don't thionk so. But it's still strange that TIDO has nothing to say about Slusho!.

Except it's been confirmed by J.J himself at that speech that it isn't a remake.

Plus, since when did Tagruato have anything to do with that movie? AND was there exploding people? No.

- I looked to see if this was stated before, this is regarding the article about the deceased Tagruato employee. The "friend" sounds like Teddy to me.

Noone thinks Cloverfield is a remake of the movie but they do have a similar basic plot

Monster is awaken,monster is angry, monster smashes new york.

The rhedosaurus also carried a deadly virus...

It should also be pointed out that there is no such thing as an original idea in Hollywood
