 		i like how the deck is communicating at least marginally speaking in different languages. I believe 2H was signing her e-mails in French(though I'm not famililiar with French. I am however somewhat familiar with German. Though I don't expect this to be an Earth shattering revealation to anyone here "Zwei von Spaten" is German for two of Spades

I noticed something interesting about the last of Rose's poems If this turns out to be nothing, I'll remove the spoiler tags.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The fourth line struck me right off: "A thorn to prick my feet!" This line puns on the word "feet," both implying the "feet" of the narrator and the "feet" of the poem.

A foot is the basic unit of rhythmic measurement in lyric poetry, and (in English and most modern languages) consists of a number of syllables. In these poems, each foot is iambic (two syllables long, with the accent falling on the second), with lines alternating between four and three feet in length. (In other words, this alternates between iambic tetrameter followed by iambic trimeter.)

So, line 4 suggests that there is a thorn in the feet of this poem, and surely enough, the feet (and meter) are damaged in lines 7 and 8, which are:
How painfully the juice will
Drip and fall upon my toes!
Notice that the final beat of the final foot (drip) has been moved to the following line. On one hand, this damages the meter of the poem (line 7 is too short and line 8 is too long), but on the other, it makes the lines equal in length (3 1/2 feet each), bringing about the "balance" referenced in line 3.


I will contact Rose regarding this.

 		Based on what I know of Rose (2S), I have a feeling she wanted us to be making funny faces this week, and possibly funny noises as well. =)

To whoever said this week was a failure: why? Because it wasn't like every other week? I don't get it.

On the page where you get the hot stuff email address, I googled a bunch of the words that are on the paper and came to find out that some of the words are the names of predominately gay and lesbian bars in berlin. Dont know what the relevancy here is, but i thought id point it out.
