I just thought these were pretty cool:

Wouldn't want to run into those...

Those look rad. But you should re-title this thread, I actually thought they were the real monster figurines.

EDIT: Nevermind I never saw the FUN tag.

Oh.

They came up when I searched 'Cloverfield' in Google Images. They were the first two in fact.

I like that one, but I kinda hope that's not it, if it is. Razz It'd be interesting to see where all of these figurines actually come from, though. Anybody know?

Thats your answer for the first two.

Yours doesn't look too Lovecraftian to me, but then, I'm no expert

WTF. Dagon is supposed to be an ancient deep one. Just like the others but bigger because he's so old. That thing looks more like a shoggoth or Nyralothotep(spelling?) Cthulhu looks wicked though. I allways imagined him with a lot of water rot like hes not really supposed to be down there. Allways pictured him as being blubberous though.

Just thought I'd get that in before this dies.

Yeah... Dagon is supposed be like a dragon/fish thing, and Cthulhu is fat. Nyarpathotep can take human form; I dunno if he has a monster-y form... I duno what that second monster is, but it ain't Dagon. XB

A question: why should the monster be ugly? A un-ugly, undefined monster would be impressionable. Wink

A giant pissed-off (but huggably cute) dolphin?
