Just submitted my answer, but I'm not sure if I was right yet.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I think the tree and the apple are irrelevant. After all, we're looking for elves, not trees and apples. I've found many different paths from the elf to the question mark, but the most coherent one was W0062301N052292, which is 292250N1032600W reversed. They look like coordinates: 29 22' 50 N, 103 26' 00W. Look this up on a map site that does coordinates or Google Earth, and you will find a location.

I'm not absolutely sure yet though, so please don't hurt me if you get it wrong because of me. Smile

I made it in first, w00t! And just barely made it in at all for #3, heh.

Libertine, your W coordinate was a bit different from mine, but yours actually makes sense, so... yeah. I got lucky, though, because what I ended up with was still close enough geographically as to give me the same answer.

This one was seriously hard though, because there are so many places where the lines run together. Confused

Edit: Calm down madmad, I don't think Santa's gonna put coal in your stocking..!! Use this format for Google Maps:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
29° 22' 50" N, 103° 26' 00" W

Not playing. Just watching.

Wondering why it couldn't be
052 29' 2N, 006 23' 01W (Ireland)
When you submit, does it tell you you've gotten the correct answer?

Yes

Yes, I submitted two times. Because I submitted my first way before any names went up on the list. Then after names went up I was afraid Santa didn't get my first email so I resubmitted. This is the response I got for the second one I sent.

santa claws to me

Meow! You're the first person to tell me exactly where in XXXXX - thankyou! This makes it much easier on my reinmice! On to the list you go...

ETA: I noticed that Shal and I have 21 points. That should be 26.

ETA: Shal's was fixed. Santa said he got mine 6th and didn't receive my first. But when my name first went up, it was in position number 5. I don't know why he didn't get my first email. But we had a similar problem yesterday. Oh well, it's no big deal anyways.

ETA: Just received this:
Quote:
Meow. You first mail just arrived and I can see the time was much earlier. I'll give you your 10 points since it's only fair. And it's nearly christmas after all...

Me too, and for the life of me I can't get that one to make sense... I assumed it would unscramble to a place, but now I dunno.

What did you get for "a deck ice"? All I could get was "iced cake."

Yep, this ones a tricky one. It's an acrostic, but here's a little hint...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
be careful how you order the words on one solve.

You don't need a chart.
