Of the games I played - I didn't get to interact with this character and he never really had much of a role beyond being referenced to 3rd party... and you can call me twisted, but I really liked Dr. Genero from MonsterHunterClub... He was twisted and had so much depth to his character which much was left to imagination. I want so much to still learn more about him, how he lived so long.. what made him so twisted, etc etc..

Ditto. I am such a Jim Gunshanan fan girl. :D

Before WiBS, I never really associated actors/writers with their characters, barely read the credits for most games, to be honest. But this Tucker fellow was so entertaining and yet so believably real that I just had to find out who was behind him. So yes, another vote for Tucker (and another sqweee for JimG.)

But for a character larger than life, I think I would choose Virgil from Art of the Heist. The website which let us explore his innermost thoughts and twisted ambitions drew me into his world and made Virgil real for me more than any superficial interaction could have done. Give me more creepy anti-heroes!

(I don't suppose Jim Gunshanan alsowrote those pages for Virgil, too? The end credits page doesn't go into specifics.)

I still have a soft spot in my heart for Brutus, the sentient house. He and Martin's dialogs remain one of my favorite parts of the Beast storyline.

I have to give kudos to Laia and Red King too.

And Serpent from Lockjaw. And Moot! R.I.P. Crying or Very sad And Jo Burgess of the jangly bracelets. And Nadine. Can I just vote for the whole cast??!

I would really have to go with the GenTel Janitor.

I actually shed a tear when the link to Perplex City closed and the last image we got of Kurt McAllister and Violet Kiteway was of them holding hands for the first time...

I was reading throught this thread, going, "What, NOBODY is saying Virgil?" Very Happy

Allthough i'd be inclined to go with Emile/Arclight too, just for the "Laptop into face" scene.

Very Happy

Ha ha, thanks, Gupfee. I wrote Serpent. Krystyn came up with the jangly bracelets bit I later incorporated into the Serpent narrative. It was too well-written by her to not snag and incorporate. She (Krystyn) really does have a beautiful way with words.

I think the most emotional moment for me, ever, in an ARG was the final "goodbye" letter from Nadine to Vern that she left on the stairs when she realized she was dying ("I'll never leave you now...") I think Clay wrote that, maybe with some Krystyn input.

That still makes me weepy.
