Lol. How could anyone have fallen for this?

The movie is over a month out. Studios will NEVER release a film for screening that early. At least I don't think so.

Hell, and as a DC native, I don't even read the Post. I had my last straw after Mike Wilbon threw dirt on the grave of the recently-deceased Sean Taylor.

I'm interested in the psychology of game jackers. I think that, while they're obnoxious, they also play an interesting role in the game. For example, this tard, what was his motivation?

I do not think there is any motivation in it and he is purely suffering from IMDBitis...and I heard it is contagious...

interesting, though

Well, Professor Jackass, I think jon-561 is correct about this particular f*cktard, but in general I'm with you. Check out the story at OpDyla, which is being discussed in News & Rumors. Gamejackers seem to pick up dead games, like discarded hermit crab houses, and keep them going so long as they have story and interest. They're the squatters of the Alternate Reality world. Original authorship matters less than competent storytelling.

I wonder if in the history of ARGs (any ARG historians in the house?) there's ever been a situation where a gamejacker has staged a hostile take over of a living, but dull, game and made it better.

Honestly, there are dissertations waiting to be written here. Didn't someone already write one, in fact?

I am working on one right now, actually.

I know of at least one group that attempted to revive a virtually dead ARG, and were subsequently denied by the original creators. That ARG effectively ended right then and there.
