[QUESTION] When will we find out the rating? The movie is a little over a month away, and we still haven't gotten a rating yet. While I have no doubt it'll be rated R, I'd still like to know for sure. Any ideas?
EDIT: Please know I don't care what you think the monster is, what the rating will be, when we'll get a new trailer, who the actress that plays Jamie is, whether or not the biohazard guys are stabbing her or hugging the girl, etc. I juts want to know when you think we'll get the rating! Please don't derail this thread!

I just refreshed my memory on the ratings system. This will be an R. no doubt 100%. Realistic violence gets rated harder also if they say motherfucker(which i would be saying during this event) at any point it makes it a R.

Definitely by the end of this month, most likely next week or the one after.

Yea and those only run 29.9 seconds or 59.9 seconds. So they will have to re-work the thing to fit in the schedules.

I Am Legend just got it's rating 3 days ago and it's coming out Friday.
Not to mention, this movie is insanely locked up in secrecy, don't expect a rating anytime soon.

Just turned midnight on the east coast. We now have 39 days, 23 hours, 58 minutes. Give or take.

I think it'll probably be PG-13, although I wish it'd be R.
Studios think that more people will see a movie if it's PG-13, no matter what. This isn't true. Just look at "300." That movie made an insane amount of money. Studios need to start taking chances again.

Actually, it will probably be R.
Seeing the type of characters that are in it, and the violence and things that this movie will require, it would really kind of suck if it was PG-13. They would cut out all the stuff that matter.
Plus, language. When you see a huge monster, you don't go 'Oh, freak!', you go 'Oh fuck!'.

that reminds me of the opening to Dead Like Me, the first opening lines (forgive the paraphrasing, its been a few years since i saw it)
paraphrasing.."you never know when your gonna die, but when the moment comes, the last words are something something" *looks up* "Ohhh...Shit"
