Dear Hobie,

Regarding helping with the discussion board, we appreciate your interest. We
have received numerous offers to help complete this project, which we believe
is a reflection of how truly special Diana Sprague was. We are currently
compliling a list of names of volunteers and will be deciding on how to
proceed in the near future. The next meeting of the Library Board of Trustees
is scheduled for Wendesday, March 12th where the issue is sure to be raised,
although we cannot promise a decision will be made there. We will be posting
updates to the status of the Project at the Library website as soon as they
are avialable. Thanks so much for your offers to help.

As stated on our website, we are working on implementing a method by which
visitors will be able to apply for a library card online, directly from the
site. Until that is completed, the only way to obtain a library card is to
stop by the Library Circulation Desk with your proof of residency in Pemberton
Township. The process is very quick and you can have "check out" access to our
entire collection within minutes.

Best Regards,

About the Pine Barren Poets Book Log, the librarian just sent me a copy...I'd noticed you'd requested one but they hadn't sent one:

Dear Mr. COlson,

Below you will find the current PBP Book Log. The Book Log is revised monthly
as the Book Club finishes reading and discussing books and adds new ones to
the table, so to speak. The complete list of books currently on the list to be
read by the PBP for the upcoming year is available online at the Aglaura
Library website. This list may also change from time to time as the PBP
members discover new books and subjects they are interested in exploring.

Pine Barren Poets Book Log (as of 03/01/2003)

Group A is reading and discussing:
The Enchanted Castle by Edith Nesbit
Started reading: Nov. 26th, 2002
First discussion: Dec. 17, 2002 (monthly meeting re-scheduled due to Christmas
Holiday)
Estimated completion date: March 25th, 2003
Next book: American Gods by Neil Gaman
Start reading: Feb. 25th, 2002

Group B is reading and discussing:
The King of the Golden River by John Ruskin
Started reading: Dec. 17, 2002 (monthly meeting re-scheduled due to Christmas
Holiday)
First discussion: Jan. 28, 2003
Estimated completion date: April 22nd, 2003
Next book: The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath by H.P. Lovecraft
Start reading: March 25th, 2003

Group C is reading and discussing:
Favorite Folktales From Around The World edited by Jane Yolen
Started reading: Nov. 26th, 2002
First discussion: Dec. 17, 2002 (monthly meeting re-scheduled due to Christmas
Holiday)
Estimated completion date: March 25th, 2003
Next book: At the Bottom of the Garden by Diane Purkiss
Start reading: Feb. 25th, 2002

Hope that answers your questions.

I got this exact same thing, but I also asked about the chest, so mine also had this at the bottom:

I do not have alot of information regarding the chest so I have forwarded your
request for information to the Manager of the Re-Development Project for the
Library and the town, Mr. David Master.

We'll see if I get anything from him...

Since the meeting was yesterday, I sent an email asking if any progress was made re: the forums or online proof of residence. When I get something back, I'll post it.
