This is retarted. Mostly because there hasn't been a "clue" yet that was this difficult to figure out. I think you guys are thinking too hard. Laughing

That's a tenuous connection at best. I've seen no hard evidence indicating that Randy uses "greenmobile" as a cell provider...just because both are serving environmental causes (not to mention greenmobile is OOG). It makes more sense to use the term "green" as a code to mean contact me on my secure phone so they can talk without being monitored by anyone.

Even the assumption he is in the U.K? Where is the evidence? That is way out in left field.

Granted, Green Mobile is OOG, but it is entirely reasonable for IG characters to reference OOG things. For instance, Tagruato references the Pacific Oil Conference:

http://tagruato.jp/headlines.php?story=news_07_07_29

Green Mobile is an environmentally friendly phone service, and there is plenty of reason to assume that a leader in a group of environmental crusaders would choose this company. The Green Mobile company seems like the most obvious answer to me.

I don't see why "green" would mean "secure" in this situation. Are there really operatives out there who would think to use a non-secure line to contact him about an "event"? Seems to me that he specififed "green mobile" to tell them which phone he is using.

I'm willing to admit at this point it could go either way, but completely writing off the chance that it refers to the company seems a tad unreasonable, especially when it really wasn't "out in left field" in the first place.

Has anyone thought about perhaps reviewing the video again where Jamie makes a point about the 'question you got wrong' as she says to Teddy?

I thought @ first she said "cornbread" - but has anyone tried deciphering that? And perhaps using 6, six times as the last 6 digits of the phone number? [Hey it's possible we have a cab company out here called 5 sixes where the last 6 digits are 6]

-------

On another note; A "Warm Towel" is commonly used to refer to those things you wipe your hands/mouth with after a meal at restaurants; typically Asian ones, as follows:

So could they possibly be using it to refer to something along those lines?

maybe we should look for an IP adress

maybe we should nīt look for a phone no. But for an IP address?

"To address this need, I've created a "Survival Kit" of essential items"

Maybe the Survival Kit is a clue to a password?
Confused

the towel
funny thought

Quoted from the Hitchiker guide to the galaxy;

A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have. Partly it has great practical
value - you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you - daft as a bush, but very, very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Not to debunk the whole HGttG thing but 1: It's a comedy, 2: That's about a basic towel; I tried referencing how it was quoted A "Warm Towel".

Also I just found a clever little anagram for Swiss Army Knife

"sea fry sink swim"

Spooky Very Happy

The number 6 isnt jsut abuot Jamie. It's popped up quite a few times (maybe even more tahn I realize). So, what if 6 is the number of vids Jamie uploads? How could that tie into:

- you can't drink just 6
- 6 times (answer to question)
- Swiss Army Knife is underlined and is the 6th item

It is perfectly reasonable to assume that they would use the terms "green, amber, and red" to convey messages to team members in the organization. "green organizations", such as this appears to be, are not usually made up of fully funded personnel and would not necessarily have secure methods of communications such as, say, government organizations. So in response to your question, "I don't see why "green" would mean "secure" in this situation. Are there really operatives out there who would think to use a non-secure line to contact him about an "event"?, Yes

Another Hack

Though i would love to think there is a code in these messages somewhere with a phone number to get more information. But maybe these messages are just a heads up that we should be looking for something from them on the weekend of the 14th. Maybe another hack of the tagruato site. and maybe this hack willl have some clues in it for us to follow.
