All in-game sites so far are protected by domains-by-proxy, and all hosted on separate servers.

Ok here's the trail so far, as I've followed it
The Urban Hunt website is, as has been stated, about a new reality show in which show contestants can recieve help by online advisors. If you sign up to be an online advisor, you get sent an email. The site and email lead you to tomorrowstalk.com which is the production company for Urban Hunt.
The email contains a bit of a puzzle:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the first letters of each sentence lead you to urbanmythology.net
That site mentions:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Dread House, a former reality show by Tomorrow Talk studios in which people (contestants and production people) started dying. Interestingly enough, dreadhouse.com does exist and it discusses "the truth behind the myth"
It also discusses a legend about a "dream projector" which actually records someone dreams and that leads to dreamprojector.com
So, what have you found that I have missed? And, yeah, I'm also on the it's a game bandwagon... it's not likely that a company would link to a site like that in a puzzling email. If it was a contestant thing/screening bit, one would think it wouldn't lead to such negative talk about the company behind it all.

Hi, folks. I'm new to this, so pardon any gaffes; it's a little indimidating to finally register for these boards after reading over the shoulders of heavyweights for a few months. I'd imagine that this sudden flurry of new trailheads will coax a whole slew of lurkers out of the woodwork.
I just wanted to point out the comprehensiveness of 'Urban Hunt's contact network: tomorrowstalk.com, urbanhunt.com, and dreamprojector.com all have email registration. The phone no. listed on tomorrowstalk.com leads to a live woman, who is happy to discuss contestant requirements, though she doesn't provide much *new* information. Were I not at work, I'd try the Dream Projector's phone no. in San Francisco.
It also looks like there'll be a hard-copy newsletter from Dream Projector. To me, this seems more multimedia than any of the previous large args, and...at least for now...smells of quite a bit of time and money.

Hey Yanka- where did your cousin hear about this site? When something like this is ready to go, there's usually some notice given to the community, ala the honey with letters in it that led to www.ilovebees.com. Or are you a plant yourself? Ah ha! You've been outed!
j/k
Reality TV has lots o' potential... I think an ARG could make a hell of a tv show... and kona would probably fly out to LA to lurk on the set...

Somebody's watchin' me.... Another newbie here - found out about ARGs via the recent NYTimes article, which I have attached. The word is getting out there, kiddos...
Tried to get into AWARE, but game is so far along, I haven't got a chance.
Urban Hunt smells tasty, and I am so very glad to find an ARG at launch time.
Got my Urban Hunt email as well, but can't find the puzzle, and don't want to spoil it..any hints, aside from the lead to tomorrows talk?
Will do my best to offer up any help I can...

Welcome to the insanity! I trust that you'll find it all suitably addictive You seem to have arrived at the perfect time with this (which if my hunch is correct, should be quite an experience) and the i love bees stuff happening.
There are a few classic puzzles in this genre. Hiding stuff in the source code of a web page (just go to view/view source on you browser and you'll find stuff commented out in brackets like this <!-- commented out text -->) and then the one that was used in this email.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Try looking at the first letters of paragraphs and/or sentences and putting them together in a string. Another method is odd capitals in sentences.
If you or anyone else new to this crazy addiction have any questions, feel free to ask. You may get "trouted", but that's really just a term of respect that says "we know this already, but thanks for your input". You haven't really arrived until you've gotten your first trout There's also a tutorial that you can read through that will help with some other tips and tricks, it can be found here and up at the top of this board under "player tutorial (in development) ". If you have any general questions about how to do things, that forum would be a good place to ask. After all, if you have the question, odds are that someone else is wondering the exact same thing.
Glad to have you aboard!

I signed up for the Dream Projector mailing list, and i just got my response. It doesn't have too much info, but it does say that the next issue of the newsletter should be finished by July 27th....
kinda useful, i guess...
SM
edit: the newsletter will supposedly have info for how we can sign up to Dream Projector test subjects!!!

Hey guys. This game looks EXCELLENT. I've been checking it out since last night, and have signed up for Dream Projector and Urban Hunt's online participation as well; I've also sent mail to both the press person at Tomorrow's Talk and the webmaster of dreadhouse.com. Nothing important, just asking Tomorrow's Talk why the 'obvious urban legend' of Dread House isn't addressed by an official press release or something, and telling the Dread House webmaster that I'm signed up for Urban Hunt and asking him for the evidence he was ordered to take down - tried to sound skeptical to give him a little extra incentive. Will post responses if/when I get any.
A more general question: I'm a bit shy about actually calling any in-game people. Is it hard to talk to them and come up with questions and such on the fly?
edit: forgot to say (as if this isn't really important) that I also told dreadhouse.com's webmaster that I found out about the show through that Tomorrow's Talk link - maybe it means we have an ally inside the studio.

Thanx for the hearty welcome, imbri, along with the not-so-spoiling spoiler - good tool to add to my kracking toolbox.
GOD it's gonna be tough to focus on work now!
Is anybody else curious about the strange barcode on the top left of the tomorrows talk site?

Just noticed this on the mental hospital site:
Quote:
Dr. House also realized that a system was needed for the burial of those who died in the hospital, and was instrumental in making the decision that the asylum would take care of the burials of the unclaimed, but that all others would be dispatched home to their families for interment
Which means that there's an abandoned mental hospital built over a network of old mines and surrounded by the graves of crazy people....this is SO gonna end badly

site similarities very newbie here.
has anyone noticed that two of the sites
talkoftomorrow.com and dreamprojector.com
have very similar designs? i.e., both use a smoothing technique on their fonts (which are, i think, an Arial or similar), and aside from the fact that one uses flash and the other is static HTML, their layout is almost identical?
i'm not sure what, if any, significance that could have . . .

I am also new to this, but did anyone notice that the Dr. House in the quote above (also listed at the www.cambridgementalhospital.com site) is Dr. Edward House? Dr. Edward House = Dr. Ed House = Dread House?
[sorry if I posted incorrectly]
