If only there were a way to find out what the questions were... Although they're probably just riddles that have nothing to do with anything. I'm definitely looking too hard to find some clues.
Meh, join the club. Very Happy
You know, I'd say the same--that we're looking too hard--and in fact maybe we are--but the TIDO puzzle, with the hacked image and the animals and the numbers, all leading to TIDOwave? That's pretty complex. I mean, if TIDOwave hadn't eventually been given to us, all of that speculation (ogre fish, etc.) would have seemed pretty ridiculous, too.

You know, there's got to be something to this. And that "Swiss Army Knife" is underlined bothers me less than the words "Warm Towel" in quotes... How do you sell, carry around and maintain a towel warm?

http://tidowave.com/blog/wp-login.php Hi all. Been lurking a while, first time poster.
I looked at the .xml file from the TIDOwave site, and it had a reference to an Admin login at this URL:
http://tidowave.com/blog/wp-login.php
If TIDOwave does hacks, then should we try and hack their site??? Not sure from a legal standpoint.
I can't guess the password for the "randy" username.

Fascinating. teddy is not a valid username, but randy is.
Hmm...

Alright well, at my own expense and the risk of being told off by other members here on the etiquette of IG/OOG "Hacking" I've tried the following for passwords:
greenmobile
lebanditverte
paramount
011808
badrobot
tagruatosucks
teddyhanssen
swissarmyknife
SwissArmyKnife
warmtowel
"warmtowel"
And got nothing.

Oh no...I don't think this conversation is going in a good direction. Can we all think it through first? I personally think a blog account wouldn't exactly give us anything useful. And imho, I don't think any hacking could be IG after our last experience...(which never happened...) Let's just sit tight...and think it over...

One of the 'bigger' plots [Jamie's video site] needed a 'hacking' technique; although it was given to us through these forums; why would "hacking" not be IG this time around?
Although I agree hacking the blog may not be a good idea hence me saying I did the attempts at my own expense and the risk of getting 'told off' lol
EDIT: Oh yeah... Also tried
Cloverfield
Cl0verfield
CLoVERFIELD
CLeVERFIELD

Detranova is right. I don't think we're supposed to look for a number either. At this point its not safe to call random numbers. Lets pullback and look at what we have from this blog and anything else thats been useless up until now.

Besides, once the account is hacked there is no way we can trust the posts that go up on the site. So even if you do stumble across the password that works, PLEASE DO NOT POST IT!!

Leyton Stone: I know you're doing it at your own expense (and I applaud you for taking responsibility for your actions), but I think we got lucky that the ARE continued after our last crisis. If someone gets too pissed off...well the entire community and/or this project might be in jeopardy. Not to mention I'd feel really bad if someone involved with this got fired just because they picked a really stupid password for an OOG site.

Interesting link.. Back to T.I.D.O. (no wave? and the title of the page) I guess they originally thought of that name at first, then added wave to the name to make it harder for us to find.. or...I could be wrong.

Fair point. This is why I've taken the liberty of going OOG and contacting Paramount Pictures [Waits for the boo's for being a spoilsport]
Don't worry. I've not named UF or anything of the nature; just contacted their press office for information on the movie and certain sites; to be safe.

OK, here's a simple way to decide if a passworded area is supposed to be hacked in an IG sense:
1. The site is clearly and totally verifiably IG.
2. The passworded section is led to by NORMAL means - like the ONLY place you are taken with the ONLY link from the main page of jamieandteddy.com.
3. The passworded area that has now been blatantly thrown in your face on a site presented by the PMs, doesn't allow you access to change anything within the site itself - only allows access to more content.
You'll note most if not ALL of the IG sites don't have a big fat ToS shown anywhere, which would define how much of a jerk and idiot you would be if you hacked a valid site - like REAL service and company sites like YouTube and the Paramount Pictures site DO.
Do we get it now?
