One can hope.

When signing up for interaction there was a spot to include an urban myth. I added one from my home town and offered to provide pictures. Maybe I'll make the list?

I added one also (the myth that Vegas casinos pump oxygen into the air to get people to stay up and gamble longer).

That's only a myth? I added my hometown's old abandoned insane school/campground where the teacher went nuts and tortured and killed all the students.

I emailed the webmaster asking if he/she had any more information about the Dread House urban legend, and whether or not they knew if it was true. Hopefully I'll get a response...

If you dig into the source code, you may notice that there is a statistical traking site that is being used called net-filter.com.
Net-filter.com's client list:
http://www.net-filter.com/clients/index.php
An interesting (and quite impressive) list, including the United Nations in Pakistan. Also, as far as I can tell, they serve primarilly European companies. Whatever we have stumbled into here... it could be quite elaborate.

Emails from UrbanMythology Hey folks - let's keep all the emails together in the Interaction forum.
I'm getting a little jealous. I signed up days ago and haven't heard back from her yet. Sigh.

I haven't received a reply yet, but she posted her website on the Urban Legends/snopes.com message boards (06/13/04 and 06/18/04) in reference to the dream projector. It seems kind of weird that she listed an ARG website on a legit board.

A small update at the UM page on DH.

Reference to Justin's email giving Amanda the link to DH site.

Why not? It's just another means to find the rabbit hole.

Broken link n00b.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I noticed a broken link on the banner of the Hi, Chair page (http://www.urbanmythology.net/legends/hc.html). The link to the home page is missing the final L in html.
I've reported this to the webmaster Amanda, and will post an update when I receive her reply.

Hello FractiousWeasel, and welcome! May I recommend that you post your e-mail reply from Amanda in the Interaction section, under the [E-MAIL] Urbanmythology.net thread.
