The cymbal or bell just sounds distroted to me. Its in time with the music. To me it just sounds like whoever mastered this piece of music had the gain set too high when they mixed down. The bass drum also sounds as if its peaking as well. I don't think there's anything hidden in the music.

i think it sounds like sonar, perhaps if it is slowed down.....

what are the known ways to hide information in an audio file? Maybe if we sort this out we will be able to find that this is just garbage sound, but there is also chance that it is a clue.

just to be sure were not missing anything I tried it in audio spectrum analyzer and got this images:

Sounds like a crappy tambourine sample that is a little out of time and mixed up too loud. Tends toi follow the snare drum a bit but does wander off.. Strange if it was meant to be a clue..prolly just a superfluous digital anomoly..
