[SPEC] FDA Argument...

I posted this in another thread related to the seabed necter.

If there was anything that would cause strange side effects or potentially harmful in Slusho, don't you think the FDA (food and drug administration) would have discovered it and shot it down and it would not be in approved for mass distribution.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with Slusho/seabed necter and the FDA did approve it. With that said, I don't think that whatever is in slusho is causing people to explode, if they are exploding at all.

Either that or there has to be something in it that the FDA overlooked or didn't see as a problem... I think that would have to be touched upon before the movie or possibly during in order to make it seem more beleivable.

What do you all think?

edit to tag post, can we all please start tagging posts? It helps the moderators and the players, thanks.~rose

Perhaps it had E. Coli? Seems to stump the FDA every time Surprised . That much aside, when did the FDA approve Slusho!? Wasn't it pending approval? Or have I just been out of date?

 FDA approval
FDA

Somebody shut this discussion down immediately.
The FDA cannot have anything to do
with a fake product in a hollywood movie. I am done with this.

it may have e.coli like poison in it. it is not exactly the e.coli itself that is poison, it is present on human skin, food etc but the e.coli bacteria gets an infection that converts it into a toxin

Dude, not the real FDA...the IG one.

Edit: I was joking about the E. Coli thing, referencing the whole E. Coli infected veggies scare a while back. Still too soon? Confused

/facepalm.

I'm sure there would be some corruption involved with the DSI getting IG (emphasis on IN GAME Razz) approval from the FDA. There have been plenty of times when drugs have been pushed through to the general public (remember Vioxx?).

Do you really trust your government to put your best interests at heart?

EDIT: This should be tagged [SPEC]

WOW

I can't believe I am surprised once more by this community. Those of you who thought he was asking about the ACTUAL FDA are truly special human beings. You're so special they make special schools and institutions for you. Just do the rest of us a favor....don't mate.

Unless there wasn't anything for them to discover.

If the FDA inspected it and there was a problem, they'd have shut Slusho down, and probably would've muscled Japan to do the same.

If somehow the nector is related to the monster, maybe it's "caviar" and such. Maybe unfertilized eggs in the necter. Maybe the presence of the monster activated the eggs or fertilized them.

FDA IG?

Wow, you all are actually living in an
alternate universe? Hmmm.... okaaaay...
I see I do not fit in here, I live in the real
world. I was following the ARG for fun,
not because I actually believe in an
alternate universe. Get a life.
