 		OK, so having seen this we can put some disputes over the details to rest.

First off, in relationship to the thread [INFO] First 25 Minutes of "Cloverfield" Viewed Early which states in the description:

Hud says something about looking for night vision, but before he can switch it on the lights come back.

We hear the roar right at the beginning of this clip, and there's NO such dialog before the lights come back on. So with that, we have a solid lie in that supposed 'review'.

Next, we see the partygoers go down the stairwell and see the matching interior as they get to the doorway where they emerge onto the street. This means the apartment is meant to be on Broadway, despite the roof location's obviously incorrect perspective. So for the purpose of the movie, that roof, and that apartment, are meant to be on Broadway.

We also see them turn around and run back towards the building, but instead of re-entering the apartment building they go into - the bodega. So we now know that the bodega is right next door, and that the scenes are immediately sequential to the emergence from the apartment. This also destroys the supposed summary of the movie as posted in the thread [REVIEW] [SPOILER] My review of the movie (as if we didn't already know that was a bogus).

For those that speculated the fireball and explosion could be related to a tanker, we now have more evidence that it could be related. We know the explosion happens in the city, but Grumpypants is HUGE, and he might be able to toss the tanker into the city.

The explosion happens BEFORE the SoL's head is thrown. This means that the monster would have had to go into the city, make big explosion, then run back out to the ocean and toss the head.

 		Doubtful this is how the movie starts. They don't say it's the first five minutes (which everyone always does - "See the first XX minutes of XX!!!" - they just say it's an exclusive clip. Also, while JJ may like flashbacks, it's unlikely the government does; why would they splice it out of sequence? It's set up to be a found tape, so why would they re-organise the timeline?

If you mean, where she looks sick, then yes, it's been brought up, but not elaborated upon.

Maybe the monster's presence has an effect on her. (someone's had more than six! Very Happy ).

Here's a whole new(?) theory. The reason the Japanese haven't been blowing up because the monster has some sort of radioactive like (you know what i mean) affect on the slusho drinkers/drinkees.

That would mean that it would have human-like hands, because I can't think of any creature (that would be suitable for a monster movie) that either exists or would be created that would have claws/paws/whatever that could get a grip on stuff like that.

UNLESS it has tentacles. Shocked
