Dont get me wrong, im all for the idea of the thing laughing. I cant think of anything creepier than a 500 ft monster standing there laughing at me. I just dont hear it

I'm going to go on record and state that I don't think the monster is sentient and will not cry, laugh, recite shakespeare or pay taxes during its romp.

I have pretty much the same reaction -- just replace "creepier" with "sillier".

WON'T PAY TAXES WTF!?!?!? As a tax preparer i must say thats not a good choice for him to make. I mean that is how the government got Al Capone (tax evasion) I mean assuming Grumpypants makes less than 3200 a year then he does not have to file at all, but if his total annual income plus deductions equal more than 8400 then he has to by law. Keep that in mind, those who side with the monster.
I think i just figured out the ending. An IRS agent arrest Grumpypants for tax evasion. Its a twist none of us saw coming.

I am not digging a laugh! Seriously, I can barely hear the original ROARs that I expect...Who has the HD and a good translation...A laugh...not hearing it my friends. And I did use head phones...

No way. Gotta be a dog bark. I admit, I was like WHAT! the first time I heard it, but you can tell. The bark starts before the guy says "Oh shit!" and continues after with like some weird kind of reverby effect on it. It's really unsettling and totally sounds like it could be laughter, but I refuse to believe that the monster in this movie is going to guffaw at any point in time.

Well, I hear it. But it seems way out of place, so it's probably something else.

If it is a dog, it's insanely close. Maybe it's like, a car begin thrown and bouncing on the ground or something.
