That means Cycle Redundancy Check, it's just a code generated to ensure the file was downloaded properly.

He definitely doesn't know bullerman... but sni he knows... or sounds familiar
sni...(if it IS a person's initials) must know this.. that's why he posts as sni.
Soooo.. Jeff wouldn't know about the last project those 2 were working on.

sylvia, great work there but I don't understand how you got from the numbers to letters and letters to base2 binary (eeh, new to this kinda). And out of the results you got, I found nothing decoding the binary, hex, or octal. Anyone else got any luck?

Also I considered that the "slashanswer" thing on bullerman.net meant to write an adress like bullerman.net/answer, but nothing. fairly sure that the answer is the last half of the adress. Probably obvious, probably already said, just thinking out loud.

Reading back I see that Doug said there are 26 of them... it could be something alphabetical.

"Ridiculous Game Banter" sounds to me like an anagram but online anagraming programs give way too many results to sift through. If anyone's good at that sort of thing they could try their hand at it.

one last thought is that it could be encoded using a matrix. the only thing that makes me think this is when sylvia separated the numbers out from the letters. I haven't done matrix encoding/decoding for a while but I'm sure I could pick it up again.

lol natas that's how I feel a lot here. All these people could probably get jobs in cryptography or work for the government or something XD

EDIT: lol.... *headdesk* I think I'm officially the last one to get that "Ridiculous Game Banter" is R.G.B.... Thank you natas <3

sample

Here's a sample using the first four rgb colors:

0,0,0 dfsfasfs = 0 hex = #000000

255,0,0 rtart = 0 hex = #FF0000

0,255,0 aegr = 0 hex = #00FF00

0,0,255 afe4 = 1 hex = #0000FF

results but not an answer

When we figure this out, we would type it at the end to get to the page. Like this http://www.bullerman.net/answer

We just got to figure out what the answer is.

Keeping the 273 instead of changing it to 237:
