I thought slusho has a red straw like in the pictures it appeared in with heros.

I just think she started drinking a little to early, and is feelin it. Maybe she was helping decorate earlier in the day and decided to dip into the liquor

Its a large white straw. The same as you get at fast food restaurants and at convenience stores/gas stations.

...and you can get in a box of 100 at any convenience store, we never saw the drink so it's not conclusive proof, nor a safe assumption.

It certainly had a red straw in the George Takei/Masi Oka joke picture.

Indeed, it may not even count now... given the fact we know scenes from the party have been reshot.

So for all of this discussion about a theory that has been posed before, what have we gotten?
Do we have any more conclusive proof that she's drinking slusho, or just some other frozen 'girl drink' mixed alcoholic party potion?
All this discussion of the straw's color - if there is supposed to be continuity, the straw in Slusho has thus far always been red. I think it's a bit more likely that they use red straws in what we know are intentional appearances of Slusho because that's typically the color of straw used in other frozen confectionary drinks (ICEE, Slurpee, Slush Puppy). If the Slusho is remixed with alcohol at the party the original straw may have been tossed in favor of the current one, or it's possible the 'home kit' might not come with straws and they used their own. All in all, there's nothing to clarify if she's drinking anything with Slusho in it.
So, we're still at square one.

true enough, but in that perspective- we don't even know if Marlena is even sick, we just know that she's not okay.

my how this thread went spiralling down to nothingness.

Again- this thread is spiraling...

Can we at least conclude that a straw is no real source of evidence?

Correct, to assume that the straw is proof of her drinking Slusho is the same as assuming that the presence of fire is proof that the monster can actually breath fire.

while i'm not sure i believe she is drinking slusho (lack of evidence) or even sick yet in clip , she could just be upset
if she is drinking slusho and sick maybe she is the first to consume slusho AND alcohol together?
