Is FreekChild's YouTube account IG? After all, his name being Cass seems to fit. Also, some of his newer videos seem to fit the theme of this game. Opinions?


Ahahahaha. I recognize your comments from his videos. You seem to be the only person who cares about his horrifically planned game. So far he's copied from Trinstod and The Poughkeepsie Tapes. He tries to be scary with his stupid kabuki mask and Microsoft Sam voice. It looks pathetic, and I'll make fun of whoever I want. If he can't even follow simple rules like excluding himself from the game, then how can you possibly expect him to make a convincing ARG? How much has even been revealed? How much has been contradicted? If Freekchild is Cass, and Cass is kidnapped, then how in the name of christ is he posting here?

I think that the kidnappers have said that they have released Cass, but will recapture him in two months if we do not stop them.

That said, these forums are out-of-game, and Cass--be he the PM of this game, or a character, or both (it has been done: see Deus City)--is not allowed to post here.

If you want to criticize the game itself, "Guest," you are welcome to. However, you may not attack the PM of the game. It's just not polite. I'm not sure where you hangout online, but on UnFiction we like to keep things civil. Smile

I hang out in places where we actually think and look at things for what they are instead of deeming something a worthy ARG because someone used a voice filter.

Aside from assumptions, what actual information do you have? None. You know why? Because the guy who made this is twelve-years-old. He's so far stolen ideas from other videos, has failed to be creepy, and is inconsistent with his releases. At least one person agrees with me here.

He started using picture's from internet sites, which is very lame.
He uses same stuff (editing) like freekchild which means he is playing with himself. totally lame Exclamation

As I have said, you are allowed--no, encouraged--to criticize gameplay. The feedback given by the players here is a valuable tool for PMs.

I agree with some of your points. This game has not yet shown a real storyline; it has an inconsistent pace; it regularly confuses IG and OOG properties; it has not yet given good motivation for player involvement; and it appears to be on, or perhaps past, the brink of implosion.

However, you keep blaming it on the fact that the PM is 12 years old. Maybe that's what bugs me so much about your posts. You imply that because one is 12 years old, one cannot run an ARG properly. You also imply that utilizing ideas from past ARGs implies an intrinsic problem with the ARG. Your posts fail to show a realization that the constant reinvention of the wheel is not necessary with every single game.

Here at UnFiction, we see games implode with surprisingly regularity. These include games run by teenagers, college students, adults, and sometimes even professionals within the industry.

Someone's age does not really indicate whether or not they can run a good ARG.

As I've said before, you are welcome to criticize gameplay. To be frank, this ARG has left more than just a little to be desired. However, directly attacking an individual--due to their age or otherwise--is simply not acceptable.

Among the list of people you mentioned here, you failed to mention anyone in the preteen category. There's a reason for that. I have never met a twelve-year-old smart enough to carry out a full-fledged ARG, and I never will. Whether you realize it or not, you're agreeing with what I'm saying about his age, you're just not as vocal about it. Any twelve-year-old who's smart enough to conceive an ARG and is motivated enough to continue it is busy doing better things in his life.

You agree with me that this ARG is, for lack of a better word, stupid. No one knows what's going on, participation has dwindled to no one, and he hasn't even been on for a week. I don't see any point in arguing with you further, because even you realize that you've wasted your time on this.

Also, it's not so much that he's twelve, it's that he's twelve and is stupid enough to fall for a "GET A FREE XBOX" scam. That's my proof that he has no idea what he's doing. ARG makers tend to be...intuitive.

Oh, that's right, it's so people actually take my cowardly self seriously because I take some minor amount of ownership of my words, and it allows people to private message me so I don't have to have to keep up conversations in a forum that would be more appropriate for PMs.

I'm sorry about my cowardice, and apologize wholeheartedly. I also take back everything I said about this game.

Registering, of course, also prevents people from masquerading as me, a nice bonus.

Unfortunately, they can do an IP scan here and find that my IP is different from yours, not to mention taking everything back and demoralizing myself goes against my entire mindset out of nowhere.

I don't feel like registering because I don't feel like participating, just commenting.
